All rooms have double glazed windows and central heating, the beds are all fitted with goosedown quilts, with towels provided.<BR><BR>Ideally situated within a 10 - 15min drive of the City of Bath, the Cotswolds, Longleat and the beautiful surrounding area. We had a great month here! This was a perfect place for us to stay while we researched our family history. There was plenty of room for family to join us during the month. A bus in to Bath was so convenient, or we could walk in to Bath along the canal. The house and kitchen were well equipped ....

Nice space with balcony and hot tub although the village is lacking in most amenities. Lovely community shop and cafe across the roundabout in bathford though. And great pub to walk to in bathampton. Bit noisy next to the main roads and a train line so don't expect tranquility!

Batheaston village has, in my opinion, got reasonably good facilities. Excellent bus services into Bath, a Medical centre & chemist, a small mini supermarket for every day requirements, a hairdresser, a vet, a fish and chip shop/cafe, a childrens playground, two pubs and a gym. For a Village that size Im not sure how much more people want? Regarding traffic...

If you are coming from the M4 Motorway, Take Junction 18 and follow the A46 to Bath.<BR><BR>Stay on this for about 8 miles, you will go straight over a couple of roundabouts, and through the village of Pennsylvania.<BR><BR>Soon the A46 will drop down hill and on the right the valley in which Bath sits will be seen. <BR><BR>The A46 becomes dual carriageway. Watch out for speed cameras. You will now approach a large flyover DO NOT TURN OFF HERE even though it say s BATH. Go straight on around the bend until you get to the next roundabout with shrubs on it. Here, turn left and drive up the road 100yards. On the right you will see the big blue gate.
