Great place for a family get-together.
Excellent accommodation for our family of 9 adults and 2 children. Lovely pool which was enjoyed by all, especially in the hot evenings. We experienced unusually high temperatures during our stay but the zircon in the bedrooms coped well.

Again excellent holiday
This was our second holiday to the Villa. Again everything worked smoothly. Villa is spacious and well equipped. Owner and janitor are very helpful and responds very quickly to your needs! Markets and beach are close for enjoyfull holiday. Views are great and eagles "aetos" are flying near by..

Lovely villa good location
Stayed here for 3 weeks in August, there were 11 in the party and we had plenty of room and Were never short of anything. The owners were on site and really friendly giving us fresh eggs everyday and vegetables from the garden. The pool is a good size and well maintained. The villa is in walking distance of a sandy beach and local tavernas. Could not recommend this enough.

Spacious villa, great location
I cannot recommend this villa enough. Beautiful building, great location, amazing pool and outdoor area! I stayed here with 8 others for a week and I cannot find any faults. I was getting married half way through the holiday at Agreco Farms which is a beautiful place to visit only 10 mins away. The owner had no problems with us hosting a small gathering to celebrate people arriving from the UK and we were able to make use of the BBQ to cook for everyone. It was just amazing!
We never had to worry if anything was to go wrong because there was a 24/7 support line. Etouri (who we booked through) were fantastic. We were talked through all the facilities of the villa and had a WhatsApp conversation just in case. The tap in the main bedroom was dripping and within hours someone was there to resolve.
All in all a great trip and I will definitely be back with some pals next year for my anniversary!

Great villa for a friends and family stay in a lovely area
Villa Aetos offered a very welcoming stay for our week in Crete. The Villa was comfortable and well equipped and ideal for our needs. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly throughout and we enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chickens as well as the fruit and home made raki, all of which were lovely. We were regularly asked if we had any needs but we were very satisfied with the accommodation and everything on offer so had no complaints at all.

Spacious villa close to the beach
We are a family of 8 adults and children aged 10 years and 16 months old. Beautiful bedrooms all with their own balcony and the villa is well equipped with a large kitchen and spacious living room. We ate outside at the large table with beautiful views which were particularly stunning at sunset. Swimming pool was fab, shaded in the morning and full of sun by the early afternoon. No baby pool/area for the little one however it was fun and big enough for the rest of us to enjoy! Lots of shaded areas around and plenty of seating. The villa owner Kaiti was so friendly and always brought us fresh tomatoes and allowed us to take eggs from the resident chickens. We had 2 water cuts while we were there which is apparently common, and both times we were provided with bottled water and a huge apology! Yannis the caretaker was so happy, friendly and helpful coming daily to tend the pool etc. It was a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach which was shingly and has a layer of rock a few feet in so not too accessible especially when the sea was choppy. A 5/10 minute walk further along by the Blue Lagoon beach bar was sandier and more accessible, and the bar area fantastic with lovely warm pool and luxury beds. Better beaches are found further towards Rethymno and are sandy, shallow and wavy but a taxi/bus ride away. We used Georgios from Cretan Taxi Service who answered immediately to text messages and provided us with a cheap and reliable service. Minivan for 8 people to Rethymno cost 20 euros and 30 euros for 10 people. Airport run was a very good price too and very comfortable with free bottles of water provided which was a nice touch. We found the local area to be fairly quiet considering we went in the height of the season so no problem with finding tables for dinner or sun beds by the sea. It’s busy though in Rethymno but well worth the visit as it’s beautiful, A few went on quad bikes for half a day which I’m told was well worth doing, as well as the local go kart track. I’d recommend this villa and will certainly be returning to Crete in the future!

Fabulous villa
Stayed here for a family reunion for my mums 80th birthday. Stunning views of the sea and sunset. The owner who lives at the end of the villa was very friendly bringing fresh fruit, veg and eggs. The maintenance of the the villa is great, the lights outside stopped working and an electrician was there straight away, cleaners come in every 3 days. My mum couldn’t manage the short walk to the tavernas but taxis were easy accessible at €5. The Lavante taverna was amazing great food and hospitality. Rythemeon is a short taxi ride away with great seafood restaurants and shopping. Our last day we flew out at 11pm, we were able to use all the facilities at Baja beach resort, for free with complementary bottle of wine and fruit and water. It was quite expensive for food and drinks. But it ment we could enjoy our last day swimming in the pool or the sea. Showers were available to use too. The Island of Crete is stunning.

Fantastic
This villa is exactly what we were hoping for, spacing, spotlessly clean and the location was superb.
When we arrived at 11pm we were met by the janitor who showed us around and told us how everything worked Andy then left us to settle in. He the came back the next day to mak sure we were ok, great service.
The location was nice and peaceful and just short walk to the village where there were plenty of shops Andy restaurants. A 10 minute journey gets you in to the busier part of the old port with plenty to see and do.
We were provided with fresh eggs nearly every day by the owners who live at the bottom of the drive and are so friendly. They and the janitor were always on hand to help if needed.
The villa itself was great, plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 kids. We used the barbecue most nights and it was great. Small supermarkets within walking distance but there a large Lidl a short journey away.
We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this villa and would love to return.
Thank you all for making our holiday so special

We have great holiday in Villa Aetos!
We were in Villa Aetos 9 nights, we were 8 adults and 4 children. We all loved to Villa Aetos , it was just everything we`d hoped for. We wanted to spend quality time together and Villa`s setting was perfect to this. Large enough for us all to have own spacea s well as enjoy family time. The Villa was clean and comfortable, it felt like home. The rooms was big and the views were awesome. The terrace front of living room was very nice and we spent a lot of time there. The pool area was lovely. Villa`s location is good. It`s surrounded by countryside, but only short walk from the shops. And restaurants. When we arrived, there was caretaker ”Jannis” receiving us, he was very kind and helpfull. The wellcome back of local products was very nice. Villa`s owners were fantastic and they brought us fresh eggs every day from their chickens next to the villa. Thank you for everything! And we loved their sweet little dog!
Kostas and his team are totally committed to delivering a high quality service without loosing the personal touch, they did everything great.
We went to celebrate birthdays at the nearby restaurant ”Calamies”, there was very warm atmosphere. Sandy Dedalos beach about three kilometer from Villa is very nice. Rethymnon is near, taxi cost 12 eur.
We would recommed both the Villa and Etouri when staying in Crete and we hope we will see you again!

Great 6 bedroom villa with lovely views of the sea
Villa Aetos was great - spacious and comfortable with a number of terraces and lovely views. There was a well tended pretty garden with a refreshing pool and barbecue. It was a short walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. The bus was easy into Rethymnon and taxis were not expensive. Kostas at Etouri was extremely helpful, organising transfers and a grocery shop for the 7 of us. The owners were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. We had a welcome pack of local produce and they brought us fresh eggs every day from their chickens next to the villa. We befriended 'Bertie', a mountain goat who came to visit us most days plus the owners’ 2 dogs who were very cute. The villa was clean and well maintained. Our bedding and towels were replaced halfway through the week. We found everyone in the restaurants and shops incredibly friendly and generous with discounts and extra treats like the local honey raki which was delicious. Would definitely recommend for all ages.

The villa is located in “Adelianos Kampos” area, which is 7 km east from Rethymno town and around 1 km from the beach. The long 15 km sandy beach of Rethymno lies in front of Adelianos Kampos stretches. In Adelianos Kampos you will find options for eating, shopping, entertainment and activities such as tennis court and kart tracks, most of them are reachable in around 1 km distance. The beach is very well organised with umbrellas, lifeguards, changing rooms, showers, bars, etc. It is very popular for its infrastructure of the water sports and beach sports. The sea is shallow but often wavy, like all open beaches of north Crete.
