Welcome to Brittany center! Whether you are alone, in a couple, with your family or with a group of friends (up to twelve people), the three guest rooms of the Araucaria welcome you comfortably in its large independent Breton house. The family room "Tendresse" is made of two interconnecting rooms. It is located on the first floor of the Araucaria guest house, located in the hamlet of Kermarien, in the middle of nature, in the middle of the fields and on the edge of the Lochrist wood. You can enjoy the calm of our beautiful surrounding countryside, wooded and hilly, practice many outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, water sports (near nautical base), visit the parks and recreation of the territory, or to discover the Breton heritage, particularly rich in "argoat"...Welcome to Brittany center! And if you want a day of iodine on the long sandy beaches of southern Morbihan, it will take you only about fifty minutes to reach the ocean.More

About the neighbourhood
The village of Ploërdut has obtained the label Common Rural Heritage of Brittany for its authenticity and the safeguarding of its heritage. His church Saint-Pierre, in particular, is one of the few examples of Romanesque art in Brittany. The town is very hilly. Its territory is between 114 and 285 meters above sea level. The town has several wooded areas and several small rivers originate on its territory then head to either the Scorff, which leads to the ocean at Lorient, or to Ellé, which joins the Isole in Quimperlé to form the Laïta which leads to the ocean between Guidel-beaches and Le Pouldu, small seaside resorts preserved.
Getting around
Nous sommes en pleine campagne et le moyen de transport le plus pratique reste la voiture. Mais il est possible de réserver à moindre coût (2€) un transport pour vous rendre en ville ou sur la côte.
