Interaction with guestsThe cottage shares a courtyard withe farm house so help is on hand if you need it....or you can be totally private. Our little farm-shop is on the farm site too . Close by we have our farm animals and operate a small camping site. This is very much a working small farm yet still [provides a peaceful gettaway.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Lakeside cottage
Just returned from a getaway holiday at Kirton Lindsey . It was just as we wanted , a log fire and spacious cottage. Many places to visit in area and a charming couple and staff Stacey looked after our every need. Would definitely go back again.

Lark rise cottage
Really lovely cottage for a getaway holiday. Cannot find a fault with anything at the cottage which was very clean and had all the facilities you needed. It was always warm and a lovely log burner which was nice at night time. Also there is a small shop on site which sells there meat from the farm and all items you might need.

Lovely
A lovely little cottage on a working farm in the Lincolnshire countryside. Very peaceful and relaxing, the ideal place to recharge your batteries and get away from the urban rat race. Ticked the three C's ...clean, cosy and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful too. Felt very 'at home' here.

A lovely, peaceful place
This cottage is situated in rural Lincolnshire. There is no Wifi which suited us down to ground as we wanted to get away from work. The owner John is a nice man and easy going. We will certainly go back there! Highly recommended.

Relaxing Break
We came for a rest, & that's just what we both had.... Booked for 3 nights for myself & Mother ( 92 ) what a lovely cottage, very cosy, just the job for us. Easy access for Wheelchair from carpark, & nice wide door at front of cottage. Lovely quiet area, but plenty of local short trip outings, & plenty of local food to be had, Lincolnshire is always good on food. Everyone we saw on the farm was very friendly, & always happy to help. So all good for us,hope we'll return soon. Also cracking fresh eggs, & home grown sausage yummy...!!

Get away
Lovely quite farm and cottage lovely owners very friendly however the cleaning leaves alot to be desired everywhere I looked there were cobwebs. Oven was dirty and also the shower got blocked up and the tray was filling with water i had to unblock it. With some tlc this could be a amazing place but unfortunately if this issues are not addressed in won't be returning as I believe that cleanliness is a basic requirement

Thank you for your comments which have been noted. They do not reflect other guests recent experiences and the fact that the oven is always checked before guests arrive. Further we were on hand and nothing was said at the time.

Good cottage dog friendly .
This was our third stay at this cottage and once again we enjoyed our stay . Our only complaint is the shower which needs some attention, it is a very poor flow . The cottage is very comfortable and clean . The owners are always available should you need them
