Our 2 bedroom cottage is custom built and PERFECT for a romantic get-away or family vacation. Just an 10-15 minute walk to the beach, Playa Cocles, and a short bike ride to town. If you are a nature lover, this place is perfect as it is nestled in a tranquil cacao forest. You will wake up to sounds of wild parrots and howler monkeys. You will go to sleep to the sounds of the ocean and our nocturnal friends. There is a stunning ocean view so sunrises and sunsets are especially spectacular.

About the neighbourhood
Our community is a very diverse one. We have many different nationalities as well as the local indigenous and Afro Caribbean locals. This makes this area very unique and like no other part of Costa Rica. You can visit local tribal areas and listen to Reggae bands at night. Our international cuisine is found in many restaurants and of course local Caribbean seafood. Surfing, hiking, snorkeling, kayaking , zip line canopy, and many other activities are available.

Again, we recommend a 4WD to make life easier. However, if you're in reasonable shape, you may enjoy hiking and biking as the main way to get around. There are bike rental shops, taxis, tuk-tuks and public buses available as well.
