My wife and I and our two teenagers spent a week at this lovely ocean home, boogie boarding, surfing, taking in amazing sunsets. The beach felt like our own at times, visible a mile in each direction, very few people. Water was warm, lots of sun even though official “rainy” season. Beach was pristine and great to explore for miles, we had fun hunting for seashells and watching tide move in and out, entertained by beautiful macaws. This ocean home is situated perfectly for being on the path less traveled, unbelievable beauty, yet only 30 min quick trip to Jaco for shopping and coffee latte fix, or 20 min to Parrita for groceries. Recommend day trip to see Manuel Antonio State Park and monkey boat tours near Quepos. An incredible trip! Thanks to our hosts!

Maison bien équipée, très près de la plage, on y entend le bruit des vagues! Notre hôte, Claudette, vraiment accueillante et gentille. La maison est exceptionnellement bien située et on y trouve toutes les commodités.

Wonderful beach house in Paradise
Cute house right on the beach! House is well equipped, location is amazing. You won’t believe the sunsets! And the Macaws were eating in the almond trees overhead! Close to restaurants, and grocery shopping is a couple miles away. We recommend the monkey tour! The knowledgeable and helpful caretaker will help you book any activity you want. Use the boogie boards that are provided. So much fun! The gazebo is a perfect place to eat, overlooking the ocean. We can’t wait to go back!

Beachfront Getaway
Adorable beachfront abode that really lets you get away. It is located on a rocky side road which allows for your to essentially have the beach to yourself during the week. The gazebo out front is the perfect place for a wake up coffee and breakfast or even a nice evening grill. We took a day trip to both Jaco and Manuel Antonio to get into the "city" but frankly loved being away from it all at this charming place right on the beach. Thank you Pamela for your hospitality. We greatly enjoyed our trip.

Photographer's delight, lovely ocean front home with all the amenities.
We recently stayed for 6 nights in this beautiful ocean front home with a front yard and gazebo perfect for enjoying grilling, dining and stunning nightly sunsets. Rural, peaceful lush setting. Very satisfying to just relax at the beach but be only a few minutes drive from local shops and restaurants. Happily not a tourist heavy town; we felt like we truly were immersed in the local culture.The house is fully equipped, comfortable and guest friendly. Ocean breezes and ceiling fans made for pleasant days and restful nights. One bedroom has an air conditioner which we did not need. The care placed in maintaining the rental is obvious. Pam and Claudette were extremely helpful in making our stay so wonderful. Internet and cellular service was generally very good. Many places to walk to and explore; the ocean was warm and great for swimming, although currents can be strong. Fishing in the area was outstanding. The local residents were gracious and welcoming. Visitors' familiarity with Spanish is a plus, although we did fine with our very limited Spanish. Restaurant Los Almendros offered superb local cuisine and service.
We had an amazing time and hope to return. We have travelled a great deal and this rental was among our favorites. It is most highly recommended and is a great value vacation destination.

perfect beach spot with everything you could need
Steps from the beach and super private, yet just a minutes from anything you need in town; this is the perfect vacation house! It is newly renovated and well kept - and even has vaulted high ceilings that make the place feel huge. With indoor and outdoor shower, gazebo with working grill, A/C unit in a bedroom, and a view of the Pacific Ocean that feels like it was made just for you when staying there.
I highly highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place to find peace of mind in Costa Rica! You will be glad you did. :)

About the neighbourhood
Esterillos Centro on Costa Rica's desirable Central Pacific coast is a quiet little beach town minutes from Esterillos Oeste home of several discos, quaint restaurants and a small but fully stocked supermarket and 20 minutes from the bustling tourist town of Jaco famous for its surfing, hotels and restaurants. About 40 minutes to the south are Quepos and Manual Antonio National Park where great restaurants, casinos and one of Costa Rica's most beautiful national parks offer a change of pace from the lazy days at our cottage on the beach. Find everything you need in Paritta 10 to 15 mins. from our house or wait for the local fish and fruit vendors who often show up at our door.
Getting around
Renting a car is the best way to see Costa Rica but there is an active Bus system and easily accessible Taxis. Fishing Nearby, There Is A Golf Course Within 30 Mins Drive, Horseback Riding Nearby, There Are Tennis Courts Nearby, Watersports Nearby. Zipline, River Rafting, Hiking, Snorkeling, Sailing, ATV's etc.
