This property’s idyllic location in the southern Shropshire Hills makes it an ideal location for wildlife enthusiasts,cyclists and keen walkers alike with many trails starting from the property such as the Shropshire Way,Jack Mytton's Way and Offa's Dyke offering miles of scenic walks close to the border. Other places of interest in the area include Clun which is a mile away from the property and boasts its own museum,pubs,shops,cafes and castle as well as the ancient Packhorse Bridge as well festivals through out the year. A little further a field you will find the  town of Ludlow as well as Iron Bridge,and the attractive manor house at Stokesay Castle. On the ground floor,the heart of the property is the open-plan lounge/diner,a homely space with comfortable seating,an open fire,a TV,Freesat,and DVD,as well as a dining table seating four. Beyond this room is the kitchen,which has granite worktops,an electric oven,hob,microwave,fridge,use of freezer available upon request ,and dishwasher. There is also a shower room with WC on the ground floor,whilst upstairs there is a large bedroom with double aspect windows where you will find a super king size bed (this can be made as a twin upon request)  with a bathroom comprising of a bath,hand-held shower,and WC. Please note that due to the style of the property there are sloping ceilings and some reduced head-height in the bedroom and bathroom. Outside,the property has spacious shared gardens which are mainly set to lawn,with garden furniture provided to allow guests to enjoy al fresco drinks or meals. Guests also have use of a ten-acre paddock with a river running through it. A BBQ can be provided on request and there is off-road parking provided. More

Quiet country location but close enough to several villages/towns with all services needed. Beautiful views, river runs through the grounds, plenty of bird life. Cottage very comfortable with good facilities. One of a row of three in converted farm buildings. Owners on site, always helpful.
