We stayed here for a week. It is a lovely property with plenty of space. It is well appointed with support near by if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this gite to anyone.

This was a lovely house lots of space and a beautiful garden we spent most days by the pool the kitchen is easy to work in over all a great house.

About the neighbourhood
There are beautiful walking tracks and country roads on the doorstep. It is a short car journey to the Dordogne river with canoes and kayaks for a gentle trip down river between dramatic limestone cliffs and past fairy-tale castles. The mediaeval towns of Rocamadour, Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, Martel, Souillac and Gourdon are all close by. The local farmer's markets are a must to visit. The local Chateau Fenelon offers magnificent views and is full of the most beautiful antique furnishings. The area also boast two Michelin starred restaurants!

Railway: Gourdon: 10.0 km

From the north;

Exit the A20 at junction 55 (Souillac) , drive south through the town and then take the D820 to Payrac (about 20km). In Payrac turn right opposite the post office onto the D141 in the direction of Fajoles.

From the south;

Exit the A20 at junction 56 (La Bastide Murat). At the roundabout after the toll, take the exit to Gourdon and Sarlat. Follow this road until the roundabout on the D820. Turn right onto the D820 signed to Payrac, Souillac and Brive. When you reach Payrac, turn left opposite the post office onto the D141 in the direction of Fajoles.

From Payrac to Serres (about 4.5 km);
