Holiday Rental House
This Victorian house was built in the 1880's by my family and was a former post office in the 1960's. It has kept much of its charm and character with many original features remaining. Spectacular views of Hengistbury Head, Stanpit Marsh and The Purbecks can be enjoyed from the back of the house. For those who enjoy sailing, windsurfing etc there's a hot water shower in the brick shed so you can scrub while you admire the views! Shallow tidal draft mooring available up to 16ft. Wake up to stunning views as you lay in bed. Stroll along the footpath at the end of the garden by the water's edge. Walks to Avon Beach 15/20 mins, Christchurch Harbour Hotel 10mins, Christchurch Town Centre 30mins. Drive to the New Forest 15/20 mins. Walk to Hengistbury Head & Mudeford Sandbank via foot ferry. ...This Victorian house was built in the 1880's by my family and was a former post office in the 1960's. Absolutely brilliant stay, enjoyed by all adults and kids. Host was fantastic with communication and even the bits given as we arrived. Beautiful house and idyllic location. Thanks for the information about the boat and the train, the kids loved it.
