The property sleeps five and comprises of small sitting room to the front of the property with beautiful brick work fireplace, original, well maintained 1970’s style fitted kitchen with gas cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer, (please note there is no washing machine at this property). Lounge/diner to the rear of the property with TV, DVD player, dining table and chairs and sliding patio doors leading out onto private patio garden with picturesque river views. The property is located within walking distance of Stanpit Nature Reserve that spans over nearly a 130 acres of low lying land just beyond the confluence of the rivers Avon and Stour at the Western end of Christchurch Harbour. Due to its level it is liable to flood and as a result has stayed relatively unscathed by human exploitation. Other areas of the Marsh have been reclaimed for a golf course but otherwise Stanpit Marsh has largely been left to itself making it ideal for a peaceful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Just over a mile away you will find Christchurch Town Centre which offers a variety of quaint boutique shops, restaurants and bars. There are many picturesque walks along the Quay and around the castle ruins and the many historically important buildings have made Christchurch a very popular tourist destination.More
