About the neighbourhood
Strand is one of the many spectacular seaside resort towns in the Western Cape, South Africa.
You’ll be blown away by the breathtaking 5 km long stretch of white sand beach, the friendly cultures and beautiful natural scenery, comprising of lush green vegetation, clear waters and majestic looking mountains around False Bay.
Strand beach is a perfect family beach for swimming, sun bathing and a variety of aquatic sports such as surfing, boogie boarding, wind surfing etc.
Our rental is also a 10-minute walk from the Strand Golf Club.
Other very near places for kids and adults include Son Surf School, Miniature golf course putt or the water world Strand, with lots of fun activities for the little ones.
Getting around
You can arrange local private tours or transport to and from the airport with your hosts at an additional fee if we are available when you'd like.
You can arrange private drivers. Uber Taxi service is also available and highly recommended.
Several tour guides are available in the area for excursions, including beautiful vineyards, wine tasting, and other photographic and scenic tours around the Cape.

Strand is 48.8 km from Cape Town City Centre, a 37 minute drive on the N2, followed by a 5 min drive on the R44, which links Somerset West to Stellenbosch. A 25 min drive from Cape Town International airport also on the N2 highway.
