Sablet is a small, friendly village with all the amenities you need for your holiday: food and wine shops, bar/café and several restaurants as well as lots of wineries to visit! It central location makes it the perfect base for exploring Provence - markets, ancient cities, lavender fields and vineyards. Cycling (mountain or road bike), walking, climbing, horseriding and tennis are all possible in and around the village. For sightseeing, Avignon, Nîmes, Carpentras, Orange, Arles, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille are all an easy drive.More

About the neighbourhood
There are events throughout the year, from jazz nights in the local wineries, with trestle tables set up for dinner, to the international book festival, concerts in the vines, food and wine walks, and village festivals. The nearest town of Vaison la Romaine has a Provençal street market every Tuesday, lots of interesting shops and cafés, as well as a Roman theatre where concerts are held in the open air.
