For your enjoyment there are a number of sunbathing spots around the pool or on the terraces but also a terrace at the back of the house allowing you to cool off when it gets too hot. The terraced grounds are made up of pine and oak trees and the covered summer kitchen leading to the pool is a sheer delight! Villa du Lac is ideal for visiting local villages and beaches of the Cote d’Azur. The motorway is just 20 minutes’ drive away - making Nice very accessible (60 minutes) as well as the seaside resorts of Frejus-Saint-Raphael (35 minutes), Cannes (45 minutes) and Antibes (55 minutes). LIVING AREA Living room with sofas, armchairs, satellite TV (some English channels), DVD player, hi-fi and fireplace (not in use). French doors lead to furnished terrace with views of the lake. Separate spacious dining room with table and chairs. French doors lead to balcony with views of the lake. Open tread stairs to first floor (care must be taken with young children). (First floor not accessible with locked door at the top of the stairs). KITCHEN Kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, five gas hobs and one electric, fridge/freezer, kettle and coffee machine. Washing machine in garage. BEDROOMS Ground floor Bedroom 1: Master double bedroom with four poster King size bed (180cm), fan, French doors leading to terrace with lake views and en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with fan and French doors leading to terrace with lake views. Lower ground level Bedroom 3: External access from the pool area. Double bedroom with Queen size bed (160cm) opening onto a small covered terrace and swimming pool and en suite shower room. As it is built against the rock this bedroom keeps cool in summer. BATHROOMS Ground floor: En suite to Bedroom 1 with bath and wc. Bathroom with bath. Separate wc. Lower ground level: En suite to bedroom 3 shower room with wc. Two hair dryers. EXTERIOR Large enclosed and terraced grounds with varied Mediterranean vegetation. Three furnished terraces, two at the front of the property and one to the rear which is cooler in summer. Changing room with shower and wc located near the pool. Summer kitchen with covered dining area, fridge, outdoor furniture, built-in barbecue (coal) and pizza oven. Six sun loungers. Table tennis table. Ample parking within the grounds. POOL Pool 12 x 5m, depth 0.6m-2.5m. Security system: Alarm. Steps. CHANGEOVER DAY Saturday. Check-in between 4-8pm. Check-out before 10am. Late arrivals can be arranged but must be requested at least a month in advance. INCLUDED IN THE RENT Bed linen and towels (including pool towels). Water and electricity. Three hours cleaning half-way through your stay. OTHER CHARGES Obligatory charges payable on arrival Refundable security deposit: 400€ (cash). Refunded on departure once an inventory has been made. OTHER INFORMATION Cot (including linen) and high chair available. Please request at time of booking. Cleaning included but the property must be left clean (kitchen, dishes done and put away, bins emptied and all linen put together in a pile). Failing that a charge may apply. Pets allowed but please ask for confirmation. No smoking in the villa.More

St Cassien Lake (3km) A superb lake ideal for water sports lovers including windsurfing, boating, fishing, swimming, pedalos for hire and lots more activities on site. There are also numerous walking trails around the lake as well as picknic sites, cafes and horse riding in the Leisure Park.
