Interaction with guestsTalland Bay lies between Looe and Polperro and is one of the most memorable and secluded coves along the coastline of South Cornwall. The quiet hamlet of Talland consists of a scattering of houses and cottages and an ancient church, away from the busy tourist areas to the north and west. The Bay community, set on a secluded hillside with direct access to the shore, is a haven of tranquillity, so rarely found in such an accessible location. It is a perfect location for walking, fishing and exploring the coast - or just relaxing and enjoying the views. The Beach It has three small beaches flanked by a rocky foreshore and a beautiful undeveloped coastline and is sheltered and safe for swimming.

Lovely Family Holiday
On arrival the staff were very helpful and provided all the equipment we requested for our young grandson. When we went to look around the property we found scones, clotted cream and jam, a lovely touch. Also provided were: towels, tea towels, dishcloth and dishwasher tabs. We were very happy with the accommodation but it did need redecorating and the leather suit needed a good clean, the BBQ on the roof was dirty and we did not use this. The swimming pool is a nice size with a sauna. The pool was lovely but there was a smell coming from the grids at the side of the pool and the steps leading to the pool were very dirty. Be careful the floor is also slippy. The lane leading to the resort was very narrow and when traffic came in the opposite direction it was very nerve racking. The area is very hilly and not recommended for any one who has difficulty walking. It is an easy drive to Looe & Polperro. Best beach but at least an hour and half drive: St Ives!! I would advise you order your shopping on line to be delivered to the house as the supermarkets are at least a 40min drive away. Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's deliver. We had a lovely time and would visit this holiday resort again. Any negative comments made did not detract from the resort being good they just need to address a few things.

BOOK IT - YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY
We have just returned from a weeks holiday in house 2 and would certainly have no doubt in recommending the house and location to you. The house is nicely furnished and is light and airy. Only a short walk to the edge of the complex is the coastal path leading to Talland Bay beaches and coastal walks to Polperro and Looe. The roof terrace is amazing with the hot tub and beautiful views towards the sea and countryside, we certainly hope to return soon.
