This property enjoys a quiet village location in the village of Whitwell,just two miles from the Isle of Wight’s beautiful south coast with its abundance of beaches and warm microclimate. The village itself is home to a family-run pub which is located a ten-minute walk from the property,whilst just three miles down the road in Ventnor there is a wide choice of pubs,restaurants,and cafes to choose from,many of which can be found on the town’s esplanade. The beach at Ventnor has a fantastic sandy beach,whilst the neighbouring beach at Steephill Cove can only be accessed by foot,and offers a quiet secluded beach with a seafront restaurant and even a resident donkey. There is one shallow step which leads up to the front door of this detached single-storey cottage,and directly into the open-p... This well-equipped room has everything that guests will need to prepare all their favourite dishes including an electric oven and hob,microwave,fridge/freezer,dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom meanwhile is a peaceful double room which benefits from its own TV/DVD making it perfect for enjoying a late-night film. An extra guest can be accommodated on request,either on the sofa in the lounge or on a fold-out bed. The bathroom offers not only a bath,but also a separate shower and WC. Patio doors from the lounge lead directly out to the wonderfully spacious garden,where guests will find a relaxing patio area complete with chairs and sun loungers,overlooking the generously-sized lawns which are bordered by mature shrubs and fruit trees. There is off-road parking for one car. More
