Staying in Joy House, you will have the chance to experience daily life of local people. The waterfall, river and bamboo forest just 5 minutes walking where you can swim, meditate, yoga, read or relax among nature.
We have a big garden with tea trees which are 80 years old and a lot of vegetables and herbs. Let's harvest the vegetables for dinners and make fresh green tea together.
You also can do hiking, trekking to mountain, especially Fansipan - the highest mountain in Indochina. Football, swimming, harvesting vegetables and tea, you can do all from here.
There are 3 dogs and 1 owl in our house; they are very friendly and love playing with people.
Things you can do at Joy House:
- Muong Hoa stream (2 minutes walking from Joy House, you should bring swimming suit and experience the feeling of swimming in the stream).
- Cau May waterfall (5 minutes walking from Joy House, from the top of waterfall, you can see the whole valley and village which are beautiful and romantic).
- Places like Ancient Stone Field, Ta Van village, Y Linh Ho village, Ham Rong mountain, Cat Cat village, Love waterfall, Silver waterfall, Fansipan, O Quy Ho mountain pass, on the way back to Sapa, you will find detail traffic signs indicate where those places are.
- If you love outdoor activities, you can make a trekking route from Giang Ta Chai to Ta Van which is extremely beautiful landscape.
