Villa Elisa is a 170 sq. m residence and totally refurbished in 2015 with superior design, touches of warmth and charm.
It is located in the Center of Crete in a quiet village called Keramota, offering full privacy and splendid views of sea and mountain.

It is literally a hidden gem around the beauty and tranquility of a uniquely green landscape of olive trees and vineyards only 14 km away from the sandy beach of Panormo.
Totally isolated but close to everything, our villa offers full privacy to our guests and a variety of facilities for the whole family.
Furnished in a combination of vintage and luxurious touches, the three-story villa can accommodate 8 people in beds and up to 10 people if it is necessary.

Exceptional Villa Elisa with dreamlike garden
We really enjoyed our two weeks stay at Villa Elisa and would highly recommend it.
We were welcomed by the owners who were extremely friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay and provided us with local food on arrival.
The huge garden is a dream, which has been created with a lot of love. There are so many paths and seating areas. The plants and trees are a splendor and it had so many different fruits and vegetables which we could enjoy every day. We enjoyed every day watching the sun set from our balconies or pool.
The facilities in the villa were fantastic and overall the accommodation was presented excellently, everything was very clean and tidy. All bedrooms and living room have air conditioning which worked very well. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge.
Our children (ages 16 & 18) were with us, the villa was perfect for them, they spent a lot of time in the pool and played with the house cats. We found the area was very quiet and safe.
It is only a short drive to Perama or Panormos to buy foods or visit the nice tavernas. There are so many beaches in the region where you can easy go to swim.
I can only say good things about this villa and would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you to Natasa and Yiannis for everything you did for us and will hopefully be back there soon.

Wonderful villa and very warm welcome from owners!
Location is very good, it is in the middle of the island. We have spent a week in villa with 3 children without any accident what means its safe even with children :)) Villa has lemon tree, mint, grapes, etc.. growing around whole green garden. We had a greek cookery courses and we loved it a lot! Food was fantastic and olive oil (villa made) just WOW! Owners are just amazing, they brought us Raki to taste, cookies when we came and the last day they brought us home made very tasty pies (her mom made it). VERY RECOMMENDED!!!

Small paradise...
Dieses Ferienhaus mit dem fantastischen Garten und genialer Lage (Anhöhe mit Meerblick) hat unsere Erwartungen nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen! Überall sind gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten angelegt. Die tolle Terrasse bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und das hügelige Umland. Insgesamt erfreut man sich über sehr viel Platz und entspannender Ruhe.
Die Ausstattung (Küche, Schranke, TV, Klimaanlagen in den Zimmern, um nur Weniges aufzuzählen), ist mehr als ausreichend!
Der Pool ist sauber und wird ständig gereinigt und gewartet!
Die Agentur "Etouri" ist aufgeschlossen gegenüber allem, was man braucht und daher sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Gleiche gilt auch für die Besitzer, die sich darum kümmern, dass dem Gast ein schöner Aufenthalt gewährt wird.

Brilliant Villa
A superb holiday in this lovely villa. Very attentive owners with lots of helpful advice. A wonderful place for a relaxing break. Lots of places to visit locally. Hope to return in the future.

Truly a sublime holiday environment cutting out the tourists and living the Cretan way
If you are looking for a truly amazing adventure with your other half and children, surrounded by a beautiful paradisaical environment, this is for you. The villa itself is lovely, furnished in traditional fashion. It has all the facilities you would require, coffee machine, strong shower, dishwasher, washing machine , BBQ and solar heating (which means you have hot water throughout). We went with our 2 girls, age 8 &12. They were enchanted by the gardens that were abundant with we have to say the most beautiful plants/ vegetation we've ever seen in a garden. There were palm, olive, fig ,lemon, orange & grapefruit trees to name but a few, and the flowers were sublime, nothing like we've seen in Enland. The garden was big and full of character, with fairytale like hidden spots, for the kids (and us!) to retreat to. The pool was a very good size, and Yannis the owner would come and clean it every day. Yannis was superb and we truly felt secure knowing he was just a phone call away. Villa Elisa is secure and safe and the gardens are big but a good size to know your children are safe. You will need a car to pop to surrounding areas such as Panormo where we bought our food and beaches. There's also a supermarket down the road (10/15 minute drive) that's great with everything you need, with a cafe/ bakery next door that sells extremely good cakes, biscuits & bread. If you want to venture out, we recommend a car.Crete is mountainous so our advise would be to bring a SatNav and keep to the main roads. We drove around Crete and came back to our gorgeous Villa Elisa often enjoying our BBQ food! The meat, vegetables & fruit in the area is incomparable to food in England, so we relished every moment. There was so much to do, we had to cherry a few visits including Palace of Knossos, Rethymnon, Sfendoni Cave, Panormo (excellent taverna called Porto Parasiris), Agia Galini, Matala, Kourlalioticko Canyon to name just a few- We also took a boat to Santorini Island. We liaised with Kostas & Sophia @ eTouri who were really efficient and helpful, and provided us with excellent service and quick communication flow. We truly had an adventure in Crete and embraced the Cretan people and environment. We felt that Villa Elisa was our home and sanctuary, and when the time came, we didn't want to leave.

Une villa appréciable pour son volume et son magnifique jardin
Très belles vacances passées dans cette villa. Nous étions 2 familles avec 5 enfants au total et les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs étaient totalement adéquats pour nous tous. Nous avons surtout profité des extérieurs : terrasse en hauteur offrant une très belle vue, jardin magnifique, très bien aménagé, environnement autour de la piscine tres agréable, cuisine extérieure où nous prenions notre petit déjeuner... A noter : la maison en altitude permet d'échapper aux fortes chaleurs et offre toute la journée un souffle d air rafraîchissant. Avec une touche spéciale qui a agrémenté considérablement notre séjour : la très grande hospitalité des propriétaires qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils pour sillonner la région, trouver les endroits magnifiques et non touristiques.... Et nous a fait rencontre des villageois de Kermota, des gens adorables et tout aussi hospitaliers. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

About the neighbourhood
The whole surrounding area is in a quiet natural environment and even though the living areas are close, you can feel “away from it all”! In Keramota village there are two small but great taverns which you can reach on foot. The location is giving you the advantage of staying in one of the most traditional areas of Crete where people are still growing up with the traditional values and the real traditions! Take advantage of the location and explore the nearby villages of Melidoni, Margarites, Eleftherna, Zoniana and Anogia where you can interact with real Cretan people and feel the Cretan hospitality in the highest level.
Getting around
Around those villages you will also be able to see some unique sightseeing spots like the Idaion Andro cave where the Zeus was born according to Greek Mythology, the Zoniana village museum with candle statues and the cave “Sfendoni”, the well-known cave of Melidoni, the traditional pottery shops in Margarites, and last but not least, the archaeological site and the newly built museum of Ancient Eleftherna are worth a visit for discovering and feeling the ancient history of the area.
