About the neighbourhood
The Massif des Grandes Rousses ski area is vast and varied, with 220 kms of runs consisting of 41 greens, 28 blues, 27 reds and 14 blacks including the longest black descent in the Alps! The Vaujany ski region extends from Vaujany to Alpe d'Huez , with 65 kms of runs and 35 slopes catering for every ability. One of Europe's most powerful artificial snow systems takes care of the lower slopes from 2700 to 1350m. At 3330m the Sarenne glacier takes care of itself! The slopes here have something for everyone. Beginners to experts will not be dissapointed.
Getting around
The resort is totally accessible by foot. Should you wish to venture further afield a car will be required. There are buses that run up and down the mountain on a daily basis.
