Surrounded on one side by the forest and open fields the other side is the valley of the world reknown river Seine, still in it's infancy as the source is only 30km's from our village. In the village is a bread machine that is available 24hrs. The valley winds itself north east towards Chatillon sur Seine , our local town. Going 'upstream' there are many other walks and routes to take into the valleys with small streams that serve the Seine. A peaceful village situated in the valley of the Seine in the heart of the Burgundian countryside with good road links to four major cities, and just over an hour from Paris on the TGV. More importantly we are surrounded by good food and wine, perfectly situated between the famous red wines of Burgundy, the white wine of Chablis and the Champagne region. You can also try our local equivalent 'Cremant'. For people who like the great outdoors, and peace and quiet we are surrounded by one of the largest forested regions in France , within the future 11th Parc national of France with forest walks, cycle routes, wildlife, and pristine water courses perfect for trout fishing. Guided tours can also be arranged depending on what you would like to see and do. Just ask Andrew for further information. We are also ideally placed as a stop over for those heading across France either towards the south and the sea or skiing in the Alps / Jura's. Breakfast can be provided for an additional fee. (Please ask for details) No minimum stay.. stay for just 1 night , 2 nights or more!! Wi-Fi available Taxe de Sejour is 0.50 centimes per adult per night.More

About the neighbourhood
Nestled within the valley of the famous river Seine in northern Burgundy we are ideally situated for anyone who loves outdoor activities and any wine enthusiast. Within an hour you can be in the heart of three of the major wine producing area's in France... Champagne, Chablis and of course Burgundy. We are situated on the edge of the largest forest in Cote D'Or, that will be within France's newest National park, so anyone wanting solitude or a walking ,cycling or fishing holiday you will be hard pressed to find anywhere better.
How to get there
As you arrive in the village drive up towards the church, we are the first house AFTER the church on your right , directly opposite the 'Salle des Fetes'.
