Set in a vast grassy garden, this home boasts double electric gates which open onto a gravelled driveway with space for up to five cars. The ground floor of this delightful property boasts rooms with spectacular proportions. The kitchen and dining area is flooded with light from a panel of glass in the roof stretching the length of the room as well as large glass sliding doors at the back which lead out onto the large garden. The kitchen has sleek handle-less cabinets and a dark work surface; however this is mingled with more inviting ‘country’ elements such as the agar oven. There is a huge centered breakfast island with show-stopper low strip lighting and bar stools which would be perfect for a morning cup of coffee. Following the flow of the room you will find a large dining table that seats ten and a wonderfully bright sitting area with an inviting velvet sofa. Through the glass doors is the leafy garden which features lots of trees, a landscaped pond and a pretty, sheltered seating area. On this floor there are two stunning reception rooms. There is a formal sitting room with a beautiful feature fireplace, cream sofas and dark wood floors and two lovely sitting rooms with TVs. The first can be found through double doors leading off the kitchen and has lovely in-built white cabinets and a plasma TV and the second (on the lower level) has funky purple corner sofas, two desks set against the large windows and a wall-mounted flat-screen. There is also a small bathroom with a loo, sink, storage cupboards and lovely white marble surfaces and a bright study room with a sofa, and a study desk that would be ideal for laptop users. The entire ground floor boasts an amazing built-in sound system. The master bedroom is on the first floor and boasts dark wood floors, a four posted super-king bed and floor-to-ceiling windows. Through a door is the en-suite bathroom with plenty of sleek, white storage cupboards and a trendy free-standing white bath. There is an in-built wet room with two power shower heads and dark-grey tiling and an adjoining toilet room. The piece de resistance are the double glass doors leading out onto a large balcony with a hot tub, sun loungers and lovely views of the leafy garden. On this floor there is another king-sized bedroom with plenty of storage and a handsome dark-wood bed-stead and large curved windows. There is also a further bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and large walk-in steam shower that contains two fold out seats! For anyone looking for a bit of peace and quiet they may like the formal study room on this floor with its luxury Chesterton leather sofa, large desk facing the window and even a built-in gas fire.On the top floor there are two more bathrooms, both with lovely cream tiling. The first contains a wc, bath and sink while the second contains a wc, sink, towel-warmer and a large walk-in shower. There are four bedrooms on this floor; three of them are children’s bedrooms. The first has a bean-bag, a double four-poster bed adorned with decorations, lots of books and even a window seat with fluffy cushions. The second has lovely fairy lights and plenty of toys while the third is a boy’s room with more toys. The final bedroom has discreet inbuilt white storage cabinets, a single bed with a mattress underneath it and a keyboard. At the front of the property there is a spacious drive that could easily accommodate three cars. Home Truths Please note that we have a variety of temporary beds that can be provided to suit your needs. This home has beds for 10 guests but we can accommodate for a group of 12, on request. Please be aware that a lovely dog resides in this property and although he will not be joining you for your stay and the house will be thoroughly cleaned, it may not be suitable for people with allergies. A security deposit of GBP 495 will be pre-authorised by Veeve from your credit/debit card 2 days prior to your check-in date. The house’s surroundings could not be more idyllic; the heath boasts several large ponds and streams, a cricket pavilion and the London Scottish Golf Course. Minutes down the road there are also the expanses of Richmond Park to enjoy at your leisure. Richmond Park has cafes, bike tracks, undulating hills offering stunning views of London and a large herd of wild deer which can be seen roaming freely through the grounds. Putney High Street and the Upper Richmond Road are a mere fifteen minutes walk away. From here you can catch the District line at East Putney tube station which will take you to Fulham Broadway in fifteen minutes. Along Putney High Street there is an array of trendy bars and upmarket restaurants, leading to stunning views of the River Thames from the Putney Bridge.
