Unlike many other parts of Tokyo, Komagome has managed to maintain more of a traditional atmosphere. With its beautiful gardens and small shopping and dining streets, it can be enjoyed by anyone who has an interest in seeing a piece of 'real' Japan. Numerous 'izakayas' (old style Japanese dining pubs) are scattered all over the area, as are more modern western and family restaurants. Two must see areas are Rikugien Park and Kyu-Furukawa Gardens, both within a few minute walk from the home. Rikugien dates from the Edo Period, and Kyu-Furukawa from the Meiji Period. The location is about 10 min walk from JR station. Some supermarkets are near by, and very nice area. The rooms are spacious as Tokyo apartment, good size for 4 people. I would like to stay here again.

This is a wonderful, clean, relatively spacious apartment on the top floor (12th floor) adjacent to a beautiful Park. The view from the balcony is gorgeous -overlooking part of the Tokyo Skyline. On clear days (which we had many in January) you can see Mount...More
