The Old Stores Annex is a two roomed self contained holiday let with its own front door and parking space. It is attached to our own home. It has a comfortable bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a fully equipped kitchen/dining/sitting room. It also has its own small private garden to sip your evening drink whilst looking over the meadow and the sunset. It is on a quiet lane and is only an 8 minute walk to a small rank of shops, including a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, baker etc. There are two country pubs with good food within easy walking distance. New Forest Bransgore is on the edge of the beautiful New Forest - a National Park. wonderful for walking, cycling and bird watching, and always a good pub en-route. Bike Hire in Burley Coast/Beach: 15 mins Drive to Mudeford with its quiet Beach and Christchurch Harbour. The Beach has been awarded 'Clean Beach Status' and has safe swimming. Walks along the beach and cliffs, windsurfing, and enjoying the cafes on the walk to Highcliff Castle. Ferry across to Hengistbury Head with stunning views, where you will find The Beach Cafe and the Land-Train. More Beaches at Bournemouth. Travel: We are 100 miles from London on the M3 and the M27 - A31, turning off through Burley. Train Station at Christchurch or Hinton Admiral (from Waterloo, London), then short taxi ride. Bournemouth International or Southampton Airport. Hire car recommended. Distances: 5 miles to Christchurch town centre 2 miles to Burley in the middle of The New Forest 10 miles to Bournemouth Further Details: Christchurch - supermarkets, restaurants, Cafés, banks, Theatre, and the famous Christchurch Priory, river walks, Swimming Pool. For days out: Purbeck Peninsular, Jurassic Coast, Poole harbour with a ferry trip to Brownsea Island - red squirrels, Lymington with Saturday market and marina and salt marshes for bird watching, Ferries to the Isle of Wight, Beaulieu Abbey with its Car Museum and gardens, Bucklers Hard - historic village and waterfront, Motor Cycle Museum We have a comprehensive set of brochures in the cottage and recommendations.More

Great location for the New Forest and Coast. The Annex was clean,tidy,spacious and comfortable Margaret and Jeremy made us feel very welcome. Was impressed with all Covid Cleaning measures in place. Also was pleasantly surprised to find tea,coffee,milk and condiments etc. already provided. Would definitely...More

Comfortable well equipped apartment convenient for sea and New Forest. The owners were very welcoming and were very happy to advise us on places to visit. They provided us with a cot and high chair. Will definitely come again, and use the little garden in...More
