The Gatehouse stands alone at the entrance to the tree lined driveway of the renowned seven acre garden, Glenloch. This seven acre private garden will make you feel like you are staying on a grand English estate and you have it all to yourself. Whilst the Gatehouse is a luxury two bedroom cottage which can accommodate up to 2 couples, it may be also be booked for just one couple using one bedroom and the rates will vary accordingly. The Gatehouse is decorated to the highest standard, where every thought for your comfort has been considered. With luxurious beds and imported 500tc damask bed linens, lofty Hungarian Goose Down doonas and pillows and both King and Queen rooms are supplied with fluffy white robes and slippers. You'll feel pampered from the moment you arrive. Relax in comfort beside the fire, watching a movie or listening to music - your own or ours - both complemented by the fabulous Bose Cinematic 120 Home Theatre System. Behind the gates, your romantic retreat is in a world of its own. Enjoy candle lit dinners in the comfort of your own sumptuous dining room. Just outside the window you'll enjoy the parrots feeding and gossiping in the canopy of London Plane trees. If you do decide to dine in, the modern full kitchen - complete with top of the range Nespresso coffee machine - is equipped with everything you will need for a romantic short break or relaxing vacation. A gas BBQ as well as outdoor table and chairs can be found on the veranda if you would rather dine al fresco - surrounded by the garden and birdsong. We have stacked the bathroom with loads of thick Turkish 820gm bath towels and we have also provided Casa Lavanda bath products from New Zealand. These contain pure essential oil of lavender, grown in Hawkes Bay - which are the finest we have found. For those who prefer a spa - a luxurious 4 person spa is located on the spacious elevated veranda, from which to take in the breathtaking scenery of the gardens. Why not soak up the ambiance with a glass of French champagne under the stars. Of course we provide you a complimentary bottle of French Champagne on arrival along with generous breakfast provisions. We believe it is important to know the providence of our breakfast selection and wherever possible we support our local 'Mountain Producers'. You will find that our bacon is lovingly smoked by the local butcher; the crusty loves are baked at the end of the street and the Free Range eggs are laid by happy Tamborine Mountain hens, a stones throw away. Of course the pure fruit jams are made at Glenloch as are the buttery home made Brownies. The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Mt Tamborine and the Gold Coast hinterland, and is just a few short minutes' walk to 'The Village' with its cafes and restaurants. The Gatehouse is the perfect luxury escape or romantic weekend getaway. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: ABN 968011666More
