Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea? Town: Ottery St. Mary, which is situated next to the River Otter, is well known for its literary ties to the poet Coleridge and for its stunning church, which is frequently compared to Exeter Cathedral. Ottery St. Mary is particularly well-known for its annual "Tar Barrels," which draws more than 3000 people on November 5th. The inviting traditional Devon pubs and numerous independent stores in Ottery provide visitors with high-quality regional goods and a warm welcome. The region is a walker's paradise, with strolls along the River Otter's banks or hill hikes providing breath-taking vistas all the way to Dartmoor. The family-friendly Escot Country Park is close by, and the dramatic 20-mile Jurassic Coast, England's first natural World Heritage Site, is only a short drive from Ottery.

PERFECT!!!!
me and my partner stayed here for a week for his birthday and all i could say when we arrived was WOW , they place was lovely , views and local walks were perfect , Ottery st Mary is only a 20 min walk away with some lovely local pubs and takeaways around , the wagon had almost everything you could think of , even a little cocktail set , cooking equipment etc. , Niki and ben were amazing and answered any questions and helped us with anything we needed on our stay too , if you reading this review BOOK THIS HOLIDAY you wont regret it !!
