Sequoia National Park Forest Cabin at 5,800ft

1 of 16
Overview
Holiday Rental House -
3 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 16
Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, California
Our Cabin was remodeled a few years ago and is very accommodating for large families and or multiple families. We have a Larger Cabin across the street that isn't rented normally as we stay there. We love the mountains and decided to rent the guest cabin and so far its been a hit. We get lots of snow typically and there is an old ski hill the kids of all ages sled down! Please note we do require 3 day min on holiday weekends. Internet goes out when snow hits and can be flaky periodically due to the remote location. It's satellite internet and has limited data usage
We expect the cabin to be left clean and neat. The cleaning fee is for the laundry and general cleaning we do after you leave. It's not for your messes, please do your dishes, clean up after yourself and take your trash with you. We don't have trash service...

Interaction with guests
We try to be there when guest rent but that's not a guarantee. We can send you driving directions to help get you there as google maps isn't the best up there. Just email us or call, we are in a secluded little communty so it can be hard to find from google and we ask you ton be respectful of the neighbors up there. Please don't party loud and to late, don't play on their property, or trespass. We aren't to far from the giant redwoods 'Trail of 100 Giants' and other cool places

The cabin is in a very quiet community of primarily weekend cabins. We were met by Jim's wife when we arrived. When we booked the cabin, my wife and I agreed to stay in the "large private guest quarters off the main house". We should...More

This cabin is very comfortable and can easily accommodate 2 families. All the amenities you could need are there. Plus, the owner is right up the hill. Jim made sure we had everything we needed each day we were there.

The location is up in the mountains and very peaceful. It took a while to get there, long winding mountain roads.

How to get there
We can email you a map and driving directions as soon as you book. Remember you are going up to a high elevation that gets snow in the winter. Roads are cleared by the county once a day normally but the private road up to the cabin may or may not be cleared. We do have vehicles to help get you in if the road isn't drivable. 4x4 and chains as a back up is advised. Fill up before heading up. No gas up here. Closest gas is 33 miles away and about 50 min or so
