Many of our guests return for further visits, as Monyash is an ideal base for exploring the Peak District area and cosy to come home too.

Monyash, which is mentioned in the Doomsday book, is a small village of some 145 houses with approximately 280 residents, located in the middle of the Peak District in Derbyshire, England. The village lies in a shallow hollow in the limestone plateau at the head of Lathkill Dale. Being in the centre of the Peak District its an ideal base to explore the whole of the Peak District area.
