Villa Tua provides luxury self catering accomodation and is the perfect private retreat - just what you need to relax and get away from it all. The villa has breathtaking views of romantic hilltop villages, vineyards and olive groves rolling down to the Adriatic Sea with lush wooded countryside rising to the impressive Sibillini mountains. The villa was beautifully rebuilt in the 1980s, recently refurbished and inside it is bright, modern, comfortable and spacious. Outside the garden extends to 2 acres with mature plants and fruit trees (you are free to pick when ripe). Unusually for the area a large flat lawn is ideal for ball games or simply lounging by the large 9m x 5m salt water pool. The garden perimeter is securely fenced to ensure complete privacy for you and peace of mind allow...Villa Tua provides luxury self catering accomodation and is the perfect private retreat - just what you need to relax and get away from it all. About the neighbourhood
Villa Tua sits in the heart what is known in Le Marche as the Golden Triangle. This is the highly sought after area of rolling hills between the beautiful medieval towns of San Ginesio, Gualdo and Sarnano. To the west you can see the Sibillini mountains rise to over 2000m while to the east lie the coastal resorts of the Adriatic - you can be on the beach in 30 minutes. The Monte Sibillini is a protected wildlife habitat. You may not see the lynx or wolves that have recently repopulated the mountainous areas but wild boar, golden eagle, fox, roe deer and porcupine are all possible. A holiday in May/June must include a visit to the wild flower meadows of Castellucio, high up on the mountain plains. More than 50 types of wild orchid can be found here. San Ginesio is a beautiful walled medieva...
How to get there
Airport Ancona / Pescara Railway Sforzacosta Ferry Ancona Getting to Le Marche is easy, the nearest airport being Ancona (1:15 hours). Pescara and Rimini are also on the east coast. Bologna is further north and Rome Ciampino a wonderful scenic drive over the Appenine mountains. Ryanair flies to all of these locations from various departure points in the UK, we find booking car hire through Ryanair is usually the cheapest option. Driving is easy. The autostrada runs north/south and main routes then head west towards the mountains.
