Holiday Rental House -
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 5
Varen, Saint-Antonin Noble Val, Tarn-et-Garonne, Occitanie
Our house enjoys a peaceful, rural situation in a small hamlet. This is a taste of real France and is not part of a holiday complex. We spend our holidays here and hope you'll want to as well. We aim to provide comfortable surroundings at a reasonable price. The house dates from the 18th century and has been recently renovated. It is of a simple traditional French style and has oak beams, polished floorboards and whitewashed walls. Leading out from the kitchen is a small terrace and a flight of steps down to a courtyard. In front of the property is another small terrace. One minute round the corner is our garden. The river is a 5 minute walk away and great for swimming and splashing about in.

Good location for a multitude of site seeing trips to historical chateaux's, churches and gardens etc. Comfortable house with heaps of old world feel. A little musty but once aired was okay. A few extra appliances would be good but it was adequate. The use...More

Hi Colin, thanks for your review. Glad you found the house comfortable. Mustiness due to first rental of the season I'm afraid. Will organise earlier airing in future. Glad it aired fine. We love cycling around there too.

About the neighbourhood
Our house is in a small rural hamlet in the Tarn et Garonne - a peaceful, unspoiled and beautiful part of France.
In front of the property is a small terrace, perfect for sitting on and soaking up the sun in the day, or bat watching at night. One minute round the corner is our garden. We've always spent family holidays here and it's very well equipped for children – toys, tractor, bikes, high chair etc. Our children love it!
It is also a perfect romantic getaway and we are delighted to say that one couple got engaged on our terrace!
Offering two good sized private double bedrooms it would equally make a great base for two couples to spend their holiday together.
We aim to provide a comfortable holiday at a reasonable price.
