L'olivier is a beautifully converted barn /cottage , ideally located between Aubeterre sur Dronne and Verteillac.

This south facing property sits in grounds of more than an acre and enjoys views of woods and hills. Shops and restaurants are just a short drive away.

A private pool and sun terrace overlook the barn and gardens. Walnuts, figs and cherries can be picked from the many trees in the grounds or just relax in their shade. Sunset dining is a must on one of the terraces after an evening swim. The ever changing landscape views of sunflower and maize fields below the barn are a pleasant reminder of French rural life.
We really enjoyed days out including kayaking, tree top climbing and a shooting at a range day for our two teenage sons organised by host John. We all enjoyed lazing...

We wanted a bit of luxury and rest after touring France and visiting people, and we found it here. The converted coach house/barn, the grounds, and private pool, provided for a very rural French luxurious setting and relaxed stay, with many nice touches and detail applied by Nina. Nina and John are the perfect hosts - discrete and always helpful...

After a long drive we arrived tired and hungry. Nina and john welcomed us and quickly showed us around then left us to unpack. A while later they came back with champagne and nibbles, just what we needed!! They are fabulous hosts who are discreetly around and always available when needed. John kindly took our son Dan and girlfriend Katie...
