A truly relaxing spot where you can just get away and switch off from everything - but with all of your home comforts, an amazing enclosed dog park and views to die for. A perfect spot to chill out with your dogs, or be as active as you'd like as there are so many walking and cycling spots right on the doorstep.

This hidden Gem is a must visit location perfect place to escape the city and unwind
This place is like a hidden gem! I found this holiday via firework free stays for dogs and wow I was shocked, the level of service from the hosts through out my stay . The level of service was outstanding nothing was to much trouble for Nikki she really did go over and above to make my stay special. As a solo female travelling to a rural escape with my dog Nikki was always available and certainly put my mind at ease over venturing on my own to the countryside ! I highly recommend the meals that you can pre purchase before you stay the food was outstanding and excellent value for money ! Will had a lovely time on the dog park that is available to use free of charge and I escaped the stress of the city and work for a few days , such a relaxing place with outstanding views of nature at its best. Perfect for single travellers, families and couples

A great spot for a reactive rescue dog. ❤️
We’re just driving home from staying in the old bike shed this weekend. I was quite anxious as it was our first little holiday with our Romanian rescue dog who is very dog reactive, but I didn’t need to be nervous at all. Nikki & Jay are incredibly accommodating and lovely. The area is just outstanding and perfect for a reactive dog as if there are other dogs, there’s plenty of alternative space to avoid them. The accommodation was lovely and the perfect little cosy nook for the 3 of us, clean and has all the necessities. 👩🏼🤝👨🏻🐾. Had planned to try a different place in wales next time but I’m certain we’ll be back for another stay in the future. ❤️

Fantastic doggie holiday
We stayed in bay tree barm with 4 large dogs and it was perfect. The dogs were allowed everywhere and had their own garden. Scentral bark was amazing. The information regarding the local area and things to do was absolutely spot on. We came home with 4 very tired but happy dogs.

Absolutely dog friendly!
When they say dog friendly they mean it! I took my own bed linen so that my fur kids could snuggle like they do at home. The play area, Scentral Bark, was fun for them although the sheep were somewhat a distraction being herding breeds. The closeness of the forest meant they had fabulous walks with so many sniffs and space to enjoy too. Was peaceful, apart from when the dogs were all chatting to each other, but as we were all dog people all was just fine. Really recommend the cook frozen meal delivery service that owners use. Meals were tasty and saves looking for a supermarket. Really impressed with the recycling boxes and system too. Views are amazing.

Perfect Place to relax!
We had the most amazing stay at Brechfa Forest Barns for our relaxing summer holiday. We wanted to get away from everything and boy did this allow us to do that. The first thing that strikes you are the stunning views, sometimes I would just sit outside and look at them because it felt so peaceful.
The cottage had everything we could need and it really was a little home from home.
For the dog, this was an amazing place. The enclosed garden meant Benji could have a run outside but the jewel in the crown was Scentral Bark. Having your very own dog field was amazing and Benji loved it!!! We loved it too because we could just let him run free and allow him to sniff to his heart's content.
We are also so thankful for the guidebook that Nikki and Jay sent us before we left. It really allowed us to find the best places to visit with Benji. Without it, we would definitely have missed out on some beautiful beaches and country parks. Our holiday was perfect, thank you!

We loved it so much we booked again before we left.
This place is absolutely fabulous.
To all dog owners - we all know that when you book "dog friendly" accommodation it usually comes with bucket loads of dog related restrictions. Not the case here, dogs are truly welcome. There is even a secure dog park for them to go nuts in, Scentral Bark.
We stayed for a week with our three dogs in The Hay Barn. The cottage is located in the most spectacular peaceful location, the views are stunning and inside is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and super cosy.
Our girls like to sleep with us and it was great that dogs are allowed to sleep on the beds, all that was asked was that you bring your own duvet and pillow covers.
There are some beautiful local forest walks, I think the doggo's favourite was Keepers. We visited in July and hardly saw a soul on our forest walks, we could let our recall challenged Beagles off lead without having to worry about roads and traffic.
There are some lovely beaches within a 40 minute drive, Llansteffan Beach and Scotts Bay were our favourites, lots of room for the dogs to let loose.
The folks that look run and look after the cottages are really friendly and gave us lots of tips about the local area. Tesco's deliver so we didn't have to phaff about shopping when we arrived.
The humans in our party arrived stressed and really in need of a break, as the week went on we could feel the stress dropping away. The peace and tranquillity was just what we needed.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked a return visit before we left. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this very special place.

Returning to our little piece of heaven.
Our 7th consecutive visit and it honestly just gets better. After a particularly stressful few months, we all needed this. We didn’t have the heatwave of the last 2 years but we still had some gorgeous sunrises, sunsets and beautiful weather in between. We visited Cenarth Falls, Aberaeron, Aberystwyth, Tenby and Llansteffan (several times)
A 4.20 alarm call on Tuesday made all the worth while for a beach sunrise with Archie dog. He has loved this break, possibly more than the others. He’s getting very noise sensitive as he’s getting older so to see him happy, settled and loving life was the sweetest thing. He absolutely loves Scentral Bark, whether he’s snuffling out all the smells, watching the sheep or exploring the tyre tunnel, conquering the tyre mountain or overcoming the fear of the doggy trampoline (he’s a strange one)
Whichever accommodation you pick you’ll find everything you need. The beds are so comfy, the lounge is the perfect size to chill in, the bathroom has everything you need. We stayed in Bay Tree Barn for the 4th year running, the log burner made the rooms so warm and toasty, We’ll be booked up for next year very soon. Why? Because why fix something that isn’t broken. We love our holidays here and we are so grateful for finding it. Thank you to Nikki, Jay, Alfie & Dilly for being the perfect hosts. Until next year.
