Great vacation house!
The only issue was roosters and sometimes dogs barking. However, didn't really spoil vacation. The house is in walking distance about 10-15 min walk to palm beach. I would recommend Wacky Wahoo which is like 5 min walk from here, if you do want to go there go very early long lines most likely. Vacation went to quickly :(

Cute, cozy place about a mile from the beach and lots of night life.
We had a blast in Aruba and definitely would rent here again. It is a good location not too far from the beach and near the Palm Beach strip. Lots of nightlife and fun within walking distance after a day at the beach.
I personally enjoyed grilling lots of different fish. Super foods has a fish market on the side that has some really great filets. If you have never tried barracuda, I highly recommend it!
The house was super clean, large rooms with private bathrooms and the pool felt great. Great owners and a great caretaker of the property! Thanks for all the wonderful hospitality.

Great House!
This house was fantastic. Fully equipped with everything and anything you would need or want. Spacious, comfortable and clean; easily accommodated our family of 9. Outdoor pool, kitchen and sitting area was delightful. Great location, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants; short drive to food stores. Highly recommend and would definitely rent again.

The owners were awesome to communicate with and helpful. The property manager julie was excellent. She goes out of her way to help you. The villa was walking distance to palm beach . The pool and rooms etc were supplied with everything you would need. Even float toys for the pool . Very clean property. Highly recommend the villa montplaisir. 😁

Nice and quiet, close to beaches and activities
My wife and I stayed here the first week of November. It is a very nice place with plenty of room. We spent the majority of our time when we were at the house around the pool area which has all you need. It is very close, probably 5-10 minute walk, to beaches and a number of restaurants. They also have local phone which was very handy in booking excursions. We very much enjoyed our stay and if we were ever to go back to Aruba would check to see if it were open before we booked anywhere else.

There were 5 of us that stayed at your villa..we enjoyed our stay very much..the pool was a big plus..the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed..it was so awesome that we all had a TV in every bedroom and our own private bathrooms..everything was in walking distance, restaurants and beach...thank you so much for the gift card it was very much appreciated..Les and Ellie Dutt..Hyde Park NY..this picture was at Baby Beach..Les,Larry,Michele,Charlotte and me,Ellie sitting!! Best rental ever !!!
Having rented numerous properties in the U.S. and the Caribbean over the years, I can truthfully say that Villa Monplaisir was the best ever! Every room in the villa and the outside courtyard are equipped with all you could possibly need and much more and it is spotlessly clean. There are also chairs and a cooler to take to the beach. Safety for me is always a factor in choosing a rental so the security system is a plus although I must say I never felt the need for it. The property is a little off the beaten path but everything, including the beach, are within less than a 15 minute walk. Julie, the property manager, was a delight and very helpful. The owners were quick to respond to all my communications with them and actually went above and beyond any owners I have ever dealt with. You will be hard pressed to find a better rental property in Aruba in this price range so don't let this one slip through your fingers. Villa Monplaisir definitely deserves 5 stars !!!

Very comfortable stay!
We had a very comfortable stay at villa Monplaisir for 5 weeks. Service was very good, we could contact Julie at any time! It’s for sure you will have an amazing time if you stay here:)

Great location and vacation house for awesome vacation
best vacation home here on aruba,
why? owners Helen and David have really thought of everything, for everyone there is something in the house to get your vacation to spend on this island. it is already our third time here and remains fantastic, Why fantastic because of wonderful private property. Everything is so close, is a holiday home that makes your holiday complete. sleeping in this five star bed I stood up every day with a comfortable body. do you want to eat sea food there were self cutlery for. are you a fan for BBQ you have outside kitchen focused for your love for BBQ. whole house is equipped with hot water. We would definitely recommend this property

Villa Monplaisir-clean, roomy, excellent location, easy walk to high-rise.
The location was walking distance to high-rise area and a variety of restaurants even closer. Grocery store was within a 5 minute drive. The villa was spacious and accommodated our group of 10. The pool was larger than expected and was clean and well maintained. Randolph the property manager was welcoming, above and helpful and attentive. The pool area had plenty of seating with room to spare. It also had space for sunbathers and/or those who prefer shade. The kitchen had a lot of seating and appliances were clean, up to date and worked properly. All 3 bathrooms were sparkling clean as was the rest of the property. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to be able to cook and spend time there.

Walking distance -- Palm Beach, a beautiful white sandy beach where the the Pro Am wind-surfing tournament is held annually. There are also plenty of white sandy beaches up and down the west coast and within driving distance; most within a 10 minute drive. All beaches in Aruba are public (this includes the beaches at the hotels) and most have free public parking areas. Also, most of the hotels have umbrellas and chairs, but may charge visitors for use. Boca Catalina, one of the best snorkeling locations on the island, is only a 7-10 minute drive.
The public bus stop is only a 5 minute walk; the buses provide service to most of the beaches, Oranjestad, and, with connections, the south and middle parts of the island.
