The Bonaire government requires us to collect a tourist tax of $5.50 per day for any person over the age of 13. Presently we have computed this tax for two adults staying 7 days. If there are additional adults we will add the tax to your bill. If you cancel within the terms of this agreement you will receive a 100% refund of the tourist tax.
Our villa is in Hato which is an area of Bonaire just north of the capital of Kralendijk. We are located across the street from the ocean. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Getting around
If you are a diver you will most likely want to rent a truck or car. If you are shore diving you must rent a pickup truck. There are many car rental agencies on the island to chose from.Even if you are not a diver we would highly recommend renting a car. There are many places to visit and it is much more convenient to do it by car. If you are really adventurous you could rent a scooter or bike.

How to get there
There are non-stop flights once a week from Houston and Newark on United Airlines. There are also non- top flights from Atlanta on Delta Airlines. American Airlines will be flying non-stop flights from Miami There are also daily flights on KLM from Amsterdam. TUI another Dutch airline flies from Amsterdam about three times a week. Check with these airlines for their schedules. They do vary depending on the season. Check your carrier for exact details.
