The resort is characterized by the luxurious decor of tall palm trees, flowering shrubs and green spaces. The resort has a beautiful tropical atmosphere and has a communal pool. Within walking distance are several beaches among others Parasasa beach and restaurants. Willemstad is only 5 minutes away by car and can be reached in 10 minutes from the Curacao airport. The apartment is on the ground floor of the first building on a corner, which means you have lots of privacy. A staircase leads to the porch, where you enter the apartment through the patio doors from the living room. The apartment is well built and finished with luxurious materials. The unit was a pleasant surprise too and a good value.

4 of us combined a mini vacation with a scuba diving vacation (20 dives) over a span of 2 weeks. The location was perfect for us. It was an easy 20 minute drive from the airport. It was easy to drive into town or out to a dive site, and a grocery store is 10 minutes away. The condo community is gated and we felt safe and secure. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool was a 30 second walk from the unit and also has a fantastic view. The condo is huge and we all absolutely loved the place. The sunsets were magical and we watched them from the patio almost every night. We took the front bedroom and the split mattress. It was comfortable. Just outside the Royal Palm condo complex gate, a few minutes walk from the unit, was a local beach. We did a dive there and it was teaming with life. If your a snorkeler check this place out. We called the units property manager, Coen, once and he was excellent. The 2nd bedrooms hot water heater cutoff switch had failed and it was repaired the next day. On arrival, while making our way through the airport we saw a sign for curacaoactivities.com. I cant say enough good things about this site and the people we worked with. Online chat works perfectly once you get on WiFi at the condo, and every time we worked with them they were amazing. We found they have a excursion desk at the Hilton, which is a 3 minute drive down the street from the condo. If you want to experience the same tours the Cruise ships do, check them out. While you may want to work with a local shop for your scuba diving needs, we worked with goby-divers.com. Angela helped make our adventure a reality. We loved our stay on curacao. Everyone was very nice. The unit was a pleasant surprise too and a good value.
