Interaction with guestsWe communicate as much as guest need so they can have a wonderfull stay in our place and our country. We grew up here, so we know the island—from the beaches of Macao and Bahia de las Aguilas, to the mountains of Monte Cristy, to the unique islands of Beata and Cayo Arena (not your typical, touristy Punta Cana!). We’ll help you to make the most of your trip and live like locals on our gorgeous Island. If you wanna talk sports, I’m your man! . Or, if shopping is more your speed, Gisselle is your go-to girl. She LOVES to shop and can show you the best places to go in Santo Domingo…and there are A LOT of places to shop, even several places you can walk to from the condo.

A Great Stay In Santo Domingo For This Single Dad
I'm the kind of traveler that prefers to stay in a community with the locals rather than rent a hotel; those are so boring and everyone does it. I'd rather rent an apartment or house and get to know the community during my stay. This was my second trip to the Dominican Republic, but my first to Santo Domingo. Like my Santiago trip before; this was a great trip. The number one reason I took this apartment was the quick response to my questions from the owners. I had looked at other apartments in Santo Domingo and requested information but did not receive a timely response like I did with Francisco and Gisselle. I was in the apartment for 9 days and my stay was very comfortable. Gisselle was waiting for me at the apartment and is a very nice woman. She went through the apartment giving me the lowdown, the keys, and even a cellphone to contact her or Francisco if i needed. Calls to them are free but if you want to make calls to others you will need to put minutes on the cellphone which is very affordable and can be done at many places nearby the apartment. The apartment was clean, fresh, and hip. The airconditioning cools down the apartment very quickly. I found myself turning the ac off during the night because I was too cold. There is one in the living room/kitchen area and one in the bedroom. The hotwater heater heats the water to a comfortable temperature in less than 10 minutes. The wifi did go down during my stay and was addressed promptly. Francisco came out to the apartment 30 minutes after my call and addressed that for me. I would have been ok with the next day! The maid came by once during my stay while I was out, cleaned the apartment, and even folded clothes I had in the dryer. Gisselle and Francisco called me, a day prior, to let me know the maid was going to be coming by and confirmed that it was ok. The neighborhood is very quiet and has many places to visit within walking distance. The apartment has a doorman 24 hours a day and I got to know Jose why typically was there during daylight hours. A very nice man. To get around the Santo Dominingo I was reffered to Cesar by Francisco. Cesar picked me up from the airport on time (he was there waiting on me), took me where I wanted to go during my stay, gave me reccomendations on what to do and where to shop, and we even caught a World Cup match at a local Hooters (Brazil, I was expecting more!). He speaks several languages, is well traveled, loves to talk Jazz music. I would definietly stay here again. Thanks for a very relaxing place to stay Gisselle and Francisco.

Excellent! I felt comfortable, like home...
If you are planning a business or leisure visit to the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic I will confidently recommend staying in this apartment. Great for an executive or a couple. The owners are lovely hosts and they will be happy to help you to have an excellent experience. There are many attributes to find : Facilities : furnished, clean, dapper and very comfortable apartment , one (1 ) room and two (2) bathrooms, integrated kitchen and dining room plus all the props, amenities you needed for your stay . Air conditioning, wifi, cold - hot water and permanent electricity (which is excellent because sometimes these services can be a little irregular on an island ) and one (1 ) parking lot. Location: privileged , in Naco area, these is a Santo Domingo clean and organized area, close to shops , banks, restaurants , shopping malls , supermarkets and major highways and principal streets of the city. For those who walk is not a problem, you can easily get the subway station and move on this with much comfort . You will feel great...

Excellent convenience and comfort!
Stayed in the apartment for approximately 10 days and it was an ideal accommodation to experience Santo Domingo and nearby beaches away from the tourist bubbles and in a superb residential area. Right from the start, Francisco and Gisselle were always very quick to respond and great to interact with. Francisco contacted me to confirm my arrival the day before and with one phone call once in Santo Domingo, the taxi from the airport found the apartment with no problem. Giselle was already at the apartment and the whole check-in process was extremely friendly and quick. The apartment itself has all the essential amenities and even comes with a blender which came in handy and towels for both the bathroom in the main bedroom as well as the guest bathroom, etc. All of the furniture and household items are kept in good condition and the stools by the kitchen are a very nice touch of elegance. I was even provided with an additional cooking pan with no troubles. Jose, the concierge in the building during the day, was always very helpful and friendly and often helped me with last-minute directions. The building itself is quiet, as are the neighboring residences, which makes for a very restful stay. Cleaning is also provided once a week at no extra charge. What I most valued was its superb location as a liquor store (Drinks to Go), a large supermarket, and numerous restaurants and similar venues are all within walking distance to the apartment. Also, finding my way back to the apartment by taxi from different spots in the city was relatively smooth and trouble-free even for a first-time visitor like me. I would have welcomed an apartment on a higher floor with a panoramic view or a bath tub in the main bathroom, but these are very minor aspects that hardly take away from the overall luxury of the apartment. Indeed, I highly recommend this apartment for the business traveler or those on vacation who are after a mix of ideal location and completely comfortable atmosphere.

Clean and comfortable
If you are looking for a no-risk, comfortable and well located apartment for a short or long stay in Santo Domingo, this is an excellent option. Well appointed with all you need for an easy move-in-move-out, the apartment is an ideal choice for a quick stay for business or no-hassel apartment for a long stay. Francisco is an incredibly nice, understanding and professional owner. He makes you feel as if you are a guest staying in his own home. I highly recommend Francisco's apartment.

Great Place, Great Location, Great Service!
I've used the vacation rental service many time in the Caribbean, where I regularly travel for business, and I must say this is the best place I have found at this value! First of all, the place is in a new building located in a safe residential area. The location is where you want to be in Santo Domingo: very convenient spot for all your needs, at walking distance from shopping, services, dining and entertainment. Also, another pleasant note, The apartment is completely new and very elegantly furnished. It has a been put together tastefully, with a elegant modern style that makes your staying extremely pleasant. nothing to envy to the newest hotels in the city. Finally, The hospitality from Francisco and Giselle also gives a special touch to this apartment: they have really put some thoughts in anything a guest needs while in Santo Domingo: a well furbished kitchen, dining suggestions, a trustworthy transportation contact, a local cell phone. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this apartment to friends but also to those travelers that have high expectation and really look for the perfect place!

The owner of the apartment was very helpful and friendly; and always available to provide any additional service you may need. The apartment has a full kitchen, as well as a washing machine. You will definitely feel right at home.

About the neighbourhood
Extremely quiet residential neighborhood In City Center, very safe and clean area. Parking included. Here are some of the most interest venues that you'll have nearby: 1. Silver Sun Gallery Mall Open 9AM-11:30PM, the Silver Sun Gallery is located in the heart of Santo Domingo. Whether it's food, entertainment or retail, you'll find it at this modern mall. 2. Hills Lounge Music Bar & Cigar This is the ideal place to visit when you want to have a genuine but luxurious experience in Santo Domingo. With a cigar bar that offers the best in international and national cigars, you cannot go wrong with this two tier bar at the base of the sophisticated Silvery Sun Gallery Mall. 3. Franciscus Restaurant This is your Santo Domingo seafood place. They are known for their tuna tar tar, salmon and calamari. The dishes have a mediterannean edge and the menu includes dessert as well. Even better? They don’t just have one happy hour, they have 5; it runs between 4p-9p daily. 4. Kur Spa Center Take the edge off with Kur Spa in the heart of Santo Domingo. Their treatments include, but not are limited to: exfoliating sugar rubs, sixty minute massages, hair treatments (including cuts, dyes and blowouts) and oxygen facials. This is decadence. 5. Super Mercado Nacional Super Mercado Nacional is a large grocery store that carries fresh produce and a large selection of food and convenience items. Located on Tiradentes Avenue, it is an easy walk from home. 6. CIPLA Clinic The CIPLA clinic is just a 7 minute drive. Because of our proximity to the clinic, you can rest before and after your surgery or combine a vacation with a little tune-up. The CIPLA clinic is internationally recognized for its procedures, facilities and staff. 7. Centro Olimpico This facility was built for the 1974 Central American and Caribbean games, but also hosted the 2003 Pan American games. A sports complex with a lot of green space, it is great for a little local exploration. 8. Novo Centro Mall This modern mall is one of the newest in the city and has all the trendiest shops, restaurants, salons and even a movie theater. 9. Blue Mall The Blue Mall has a little bit of everything and a lot of high-end retail. This complex includes banks, a food court, restaurants and jewelry and clothing stores such as Cartier, Brooks Brothers, Louis Vuitton and Zara. 10. Drinks 2 Go – Liquor Store Drinks 2 Go is easy to find with its large arc and bright blue sign out front. The inside is a library of alcohol, guaranteeing that you can find pretty much anything you want. In addition to the huge selection, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. 11. O.Livia restaurant: We personally recommend the trendy O.livia Restaurant. They usually have live music and always have amazing tapas including Provoleta a la Toscana and 3 fromages pizza. This place is a must. 12. Nipau Mediterranean Restaurant Nipau accommodates reservations and walk-ins and cater to lunch, dinner, coffee and drinks. A big hit for their live music and 5-9 happy hour, we feel lucky to have them so close! 13. Delicato Bistro Café This restaurant specializes in Italian food, but what they really do well is brunch. You'll know it's Sunday when you are relaxing a table with a mimosa and eggs. 14. Yokomo Sushi Sushi and Japanese food with a local twist. Yokomo caters to walk-ins or reservations and is appropriate for date nights or families. If you like sushi, you are going to like Yokomo. 15. Heladeria Valentino Mmm... gelato... Located in the Super Mercado Nacional, this is a local favorite and an every day treat! Personally, I think the ferrerorocher is the best, but my wife tells me I'm wrong. 11AM - 11PM daily. 16. Applebee's Located in the Silver Sun Gallery Mall, this is the only Applebees in Santo Domingo. Known for their late night half price apps and 2 for $20 selection, this is hot food at affordable prices. 17. SegafredoCafé Segafredo is a great place to meet friends (and new friends) for coffee. It's got a very modern feel with modern light fixtures, clean looking tables and a professional and friendly staff. 18. Adrian Tropical There is an Adrian Tropical within walking distance of our home, but we recommend the coastal one (George Washington Av.). They have great local treats and seafood, all with a quintessential Dominican flavor. 19. Parque La Arboleda This park is located just 15 minutes away walking from the apartment and it is popular with runners. Convenient and beautiful, it's perfect for when you want to knock out a few miles. 20. Cosas de mi pais This gift shop is located in the Super Mercado Nacional. Come home with a souvenir for yourself or someone else when you leave Cosas de mi pais. 21. Plaza de la cultura Located on Maximo Gomez, this theater is the center of the arts district and is surrounded by museums. You'll know you are there when you see a tall brown brick building with a flag at the top. 21. Iglesia San Judas Tadeo Mass times are Mon-Sat: 7:30AM, 5:30PM, 6:00PM and Sunday: 9:00AM, 10:00AM, 11:00AM, 12:00PM, 6:00PM, 7:00PM and 8:00PM. Iglesia San Judas Tadeo is both beautiful and close. 22. Club Body Shop Gym A 9-minute walk from the condo.
