She is fully equipped with a fixed double bed, sofa, wardrobe, fridge, electric cooker with oven, grill and hotplates and a TV with DVD player. Her bathroom is directly opposite in the main house and is shared with the downstairs bedroom. Guests to Woodlands also have exclusive use of the basement level bar and movie room. Our fully stocked bar is run on an honesty system and has bar stools, sofas and a dining table which seats up to 8 people. The movie room has a large L-shaped sofa, another 2 seater sofa and coffee tables. The basement bar and movie room is a great space for you to get together in the evening and the best part is it's all yours - it's not used by the owners, it's purely for our guests. Outside, the upper garden has a gas bbq, picnic table with parasol, coffee table, armchairs and sunloungers. The lower garden is fully enclosed (fenced) and safe for your dog/s to run off the lead. It also has a picnic table with parasol, coffee table, bench, armchairs and sun loungers. Jemima has her own Secret Garden - a small woodland area with a 'window' looking out across the valley. Lit in the even by warm white festoon lights, this is a lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine or a romantic dinner for two. The holiday accommodation has its own front door access into the main hallway (the owner lives in a separate wing of the house with its own entrance). Upstairs are the two apartments, again with their own lockable front doors. On the ground floor is the double bedroom and bathroom, with a lockable front door with Jemima the caravan located outside to the front of the property. The downstairs bathroom has an electric shower, sink and wc. Guests also have use of the boot room, where you can leave coats, shoes, wellies etc. The large laundry room is fully equipped with washing machine, drying and ironing facilities, fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. The laundry room is very large and can also be used as a safe place to store bikes and outdoor equipment. Dogs and cats are welcome and we make no charge whatsoever for their stay. We automatically accept 5 dogs but will consider more depending on size and breed. Cats are also welcome but in the apartments only. Our own animal family is large and varied with dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbits and Alpacas. Our Alpaca family is made up of 3 beautiful girls and 3 young and cheeky boys, who form our trekking team. Walk with these lovely lads right from the doorstep through the stunning Welsh countryside and then return to our meadow where you can feed and cuddle all 6 of our alpacas, while enjoying a picnic lunch or cream tea in Tabitha, our meadow caravan. We only ever trek with 2 people and 2 alpacas, so unlike other destinations, our treks are totally private and exclusive to you. We are lucky to have beautiful walks right from the doorstep, taking you across the valley into the woodland beyond.
