About the neighbourhood
The Keep Cool Guesthouse is located in Beausejour, an upper-middle class area. Generally, a very peaceful location to relax throughout the day. On occasion there is music from a live event at the cricket that can be heard. Just a four minute walk to the cricket stadium, a three minute drive to the Rodney Bay Marina, and five minutes to Rodney Bay or Gros Islet. We are only ten minutes from three different beaches, and the popular Pigeon Point National Park.
Getting around
The guesthouse can coordinate transportation between the airport or ferry, and the guesthouse. Due to the hillside location, it is recommended that guests rent a vehicle, or we can arrange for taxis. However, for those who are comfortable with a little bit of walking, it's just five minutes to the Beausejour Road where you can catch the 1AB shuttle ($1.50 XCD) to the main road, the Gros Islet Highway. From there, a 1A bus can be taken to Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, or Castries. If the 1AB shuttle is delayed, it is only a 15 minute walk to the highway/main road. Depending upon a guest's activities, a combination of car rental, taxi, walking, shuttle, and bus would fulfill their transportation needs.

How to get there
Travel durations to the guesthouse from: Hewanorra Airport– 1.5 hours; Castries Wharf – 40 minutes; George F. L. Charles Airport – 25 minutes; Rodney Bay Marina – 3 minutes.

When departing any of the above listed ports of entry, and turn left (north) onto the road. If you are leaving Hewanorra/Vieux Fort, continue on the highway towards Castries City Centre. After you get into Castries, and if you are leaving the wharf, follow the traffic signs to George F.L. Charles highway. After passing the George F.L. Charles airport, the road becomes the Gros Islet highway.

About 15 minutes later, you will pass the Rodney Bay Mall on your left. Continue driving, you will pass the Rodney Bay Marina on your left. Turn right when you see Johnson's Hardware to your right (it's Bella Rosa Rd.)....
