This tiny cottage perched high above the village of St Dogmaels makes a perfect holiday hideaway for 1 or 2 people and their four legged friend. St Dogmaels is a thriving community set on the bank of the river Teifi. The village boasts a beautiful ruined Abbey, working flour mill, mill pond, pubs, eateries, galleries and more. There are lots of lovely walks from the cottage door and the coastal path can be joined at the nearby Poppit Sands beach. Cardigan Market Town is a mile and a half away and has a theatre, market, historic castle and much more. Entrance is through a stable door into the hallway and upstairs to the 'small but perfectly formed' OPEN PLAN KITCHEN, DINING AND SITTING room. There is a vaulted ceiling with skylight and a low window giving this pleasant room a light and airy feeling belying its size. The kitchen area has fitted units, electric oven and hob and larder fridge. There is a dining area with a table and two chairs as well as a seating area with a small 2 seater sofa and TV. A view of the narrow road and the river beyond can be enjoyed from the low window. The downstairs BEDROOM has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, rocking chair and wardrobe space. There are attractive cushions and throws on the bed. The SHOWER ROOM has a white suite with a corner shower cubicle, WC and hand basin with shaver light over. The hallway has space for coats and walking boots and a chest is provided. Space for a dog bed. Garden and Parking There is an attractive decked area just outside the stable door with a table and chairs for al-fresco breakfast or a glass of something stronger after a pleasant day out. There is a reserved parking space. Other information There is oil fired central throughout. This is included in the rental. The bed will be made up with fresh linen and towels are supplied for your stay. Please bring your own beach towels if you intend going for a dip! No baby equipment. WiFi enabled. One well behaved pet is welcome. No smoking. More

Firstly, the area & village are both very nice, great local produce market on a Tuesday, & The Ferry is a very nice pub with good food & great views over the river. The flat however is very small, I think to describe it as...More
