Southwinds is a detached bungalow in an enviable position in Upper Solva, with uninterrupted seaviews over St. Brides Bay. An idea place to relax and as a base for exploring the Pembrokeshire National Park and surrounding area.
The open plan lounge/diner has a bright conservatory with views to the sea. The open fire is lovely for those cosy winter evenings. An easy walk takes you to the Pembrokeshire coastal path - which runs for 186 miles from Amroth to St Dogmaels.

We had a fantastic week in this great holiday cottage in upper Solva. The views are incredible from the conservatory and the walk down into Solva along coastal paths was so enjoyable. Catching crabs on the quayside at Solva and horse riding on Druidstone haven beach were highlights. As was just sitting looking at the view from the cottage!

My wife and I stayed in Southwinds for a week in early July and had a really good time. The property was adequately equipped and everything worked. No problem watching Wimbledon on the large TV on the day in rained all day. Conveniently located for St Davids and a short walk into the centre of Solva. The view out of...

Our 6th or maybe 7th stay in this lovely, homely, comfortable cottage. Views from the conservatory over hills and Solva harbour, would be hard to beat, which is why we keep coming back :) Coastal path walks from the front door, a short walk down to the harbour, shops and pubs, a bus service to St David's and Newgale from...

About the neighbourhood
Solva is situated on the West Wales coast 4miles from St Davids and it's mediaeval catherdral. It is an ideal place to walk being on the Pembrokeshire long distance coast path with it's ever changing seascape. There are also lots of paths through the village and surrounding area. There is a coastal bus service which operates all year round ( check times before setting out) making it possible, with some planning, to leave the car behind. The harbour is tidal and at full tide a popular passtime with the children is crab fishing - not for eating they are safely returned to the sea.

An excellent area for cycling being on the Sustrans route 4 and there are lots of quiet lanes.
Boats trips and other water activities such as coasteering and caneoing can be arranged in St Davids.
