This isolated Highland croft house set in nearly 6 acres of it’s own ground is situated just 3 miles away from Loch Ness. It is the highest traditional Croft in the immediate area at around 1000 feet above sea level. Access to Loch Ness (5 minutes), Inverness, Beauly and Drumnadrochit (25/30 minutes) and the rest of the Highlands. Picture windows offer wonderful views looking west towards the Glen Affric and the mountain scenery across to the west. Beautiful sunsets over the mountains can be viewed from the house. We are very child friendly as we ourselves use the house with our own 4 children to holiday and have done for years. The house is situated at the end of a half mile long track off a minor road. Abriachan is the nearest community. The Cottage is set in it's own private fields and garden on the side of the hill.
How to get there
Inverness is 25/30 minutes away. You'll need your own car though! Be aware that the roads are single track and the track is a forest track. Regular 2 wheel drive cars are fine but leave your Porche at home!
