Charming 1-bedroom property in the quiet village of North Kessock with great views overlooking the Beauly-Firth and Inverness. The property is a great basecamp for exploring more of the Highlands of Scotland. All rooms are on the ground floor. The lounge & Dining offers guests south facing lounge with an electric fire, 2-seater settee, armchair, chest of drawers with shelving space, dining area with 2 dining chairs, occasional tables, TV with Freeview, DVD player with a selection of books, games and DVDs. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, hob, fridge/ freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and a selection of kitchen utensils. The utility room washing machine, clothes horse, ironing board and iron. The outside has convenient parking outside the property. Small enclosed garden to the rear. Small garden at the front with table and chairs. The house has oil fired central heating. Guests have access to the entire property. Prior to your arrival, we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay. Easy access to A9 (dual carriageway) where guests can head North towards the historic town of Dingwall or South towards Inverness and Aviemore. Bottlenose dolphins are regularly sighted in this area. A car is recommended when travelling to the Highlands, however, this is not a necessity. There is a bus stop on the main street outside the property. Taxis operate 24 hours of the day. The closest Airport is Inverness Airport and can be accessed within a 20-minute drive from the property. No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4 PM - 10 PM. Check out time is 10 am. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave, we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. Cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for our weeks stay! Lovely welcome back of essentials and local treats was brilliant plus fresh flowers. All welcome touches plus plenty of tea,coffee,washing up liquid, loo roll etc,all the things ,if you've stayed in a cottage...More
