The house was designed primarily for comfort, not ostentation. The villa's ventilation, wall materials, aspect and high ceilings combine to make this a cool house.
A southern Thai roof structure has been fused with Balinese and Cambodian architectural features. The villa's one-off architectural design and separate plot will appeal to those who prefer individuality to housing estate mass reproduction.
The villa has a large garden, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and 3 air-con bedrooms:

The view to the north of the Ao Nang, Krabi villa is of spectacular karst mountains. In all directions the neighbouring properties are inconspicuous.
The villa boasts maybe the most stylish, fully-fitted Western kitchen in Krabi province. UBC satellite TV and high-speed internet are installed. Security is provided by a 2m wall and a 2m gate.
Villa Alice is located 60m from a small but tarmaced road - just the right distance from just the right sized road. The tarmaced road is on a slow bend, so traffic noise is almost inaudible. Tranquil Nopparat Thara beach is only 4 minutes away. Bustling Ao Nang beach is 4 minutes further.

Well, first things first, we enjoyed arriving at the villa because the owner gave us a guided tour of Ao Nang, which was helpful to get a bit of inside general knowledge. The villa was just the right size for our group of 8, on...More
What a fantastic villa, wow. And the service from the owner and his team (cleaner & driver) was amazing. We are a family of 6 including 3 children, 1 boy and 3 girls. The villa worked out perfectly, with loads of space to go around....More
We were a group of 2 families (8 people) and we had a great time at the Alice Villa. The staff was awesome. Simon the host was cool and helpful. Although the place is slightly far from the main Ao Nang beach (8 minutes in...More

Stayed here for a week (just over) and didn't want to leave. We came to check out the area, but ended up spending a lot more time than we planned at the villa, as it was such a great location for a family reunion and...More
When I am travelling with my family we never stay in hotels. It’s a no-brainer to book a villa instead, less expensive and way more for your money. So I have a fair few years’ experience of booking villas, and this one was certainly one...More
Very clean and well-maintained. Well-located, quiet. Surrounded by greenery but still 5 minutes from the commodities and the beach.
Spacious, liked the specifications and amenities, liked the green organic feeling, especially when being modern and relatively easy to keep clean
Didn’t use sandpit because our...More
The villa enjoys peace and quiet as well as perfect privacy, nobody can see in at all. We started calling it the Naked Villa as we didn't have to bother putting clothes on. The host was very welcoming and bought us a beer while describing...More
Despite all the positive comments, sadly, this villa has been a major disappointment. It is unbelievably dirty (mice-infested; stained bedsheets; urine smell; no toilet paper - seriously??) and not maintained (lots of equipments are either broken or in serious need of upgrade, sometimes even causing...More
My family stayed here over Xmas for two weeks. 6 adults and 2 children.
Location - Car or scooter required which is very easy and reasonable to hire. The taxi service (recommended by Simon) is very reliable and reasonably priced for a large family.

Due to its central location in the Andaman Sea and to its fabulous topography and sporting opportunities, Ao Nang is, at the moment, arguably Thailand’s best all-round beach destination. It is predominately a family and sports destination. Whilst it lacks wild nightlife and young party travelers will bore quickly, it does have a few relaxed bars and two nightclubs. Many beach destinations get ruined when over-development and over-population result in an unsupportable excess of pollutants. But somewhere along the way there is an optimal state, where there are enough facilities, but a still ecologically-sustainable tourist population. Ao Nang is now at this stage and represents, for many people, an ideal compromise between a pristine but boring destination and a fun but polluted one. The sout...
