Spacious and comfortable!
We stayed at Casa Grande with 4 adults and had some friends come and visit and always felt comfortable. It's bigger than it looks in the photos! Tyson, the host was helpful and access to the resort pool was great. Would recommend.

Good and the Bad
I stayed at Casa Grande for 35 days in December and January. The house is beautiful and in a great location on Calle Davis. For a Mexican neighborhood it was nice and quiet and the pool is lovely. There is no hot tub, even though it looks like it in the pictures. The downside is that communication after you arrive is non existent and there has been little service to the house. The cleaner and handyman are greAt when they come but you have to go through the owners to get them to come. They neither speak English so speaking Spanish is a must. The owners never answer the phone or call you back. You can email and eventually they will send the cleaner or Ramon the handyman to help you. Or not. But they don’t return calls or email after the first round of problems. The first few days I was there, we ran out of gas, wTer and toilet paper. There was three gas tanks so we had to arrange filling. The washing machine didn’t work right, I think the tub wasn’t attached right so I emailed about that. No fix. And then because it ralttled so, it broke the hot water pipe and we had hot water spraying like a firehouse in the garage. We eventually got it shut off, but the owners never answered my calls or email and just sent Ramon, who fixed the pipe but told us not to use the washer. That was after 10 days. I was supposed to be able to use their laundry room for the cleaners. But the first time I used it, the washer didn’t work and my clothes were sopping. After that the door wAs locked and no one would open or answer my email so I had to pay for my clothes cleaned. Then my fridge broke down and after taking everything out for 24 hours twice to let it defrost as Ramon told me, and losing all my food twice, they replaced it with a much smaller fridge. I had 30 pounds of yellowtail in the freezer so I hAd to pay $20 for someone to keep it frozen. Fortunately, I speak Spanish and can deal with problems as I have traveled a lot, and although I had lots of problems, I still enjoyed the beautiful house and location.

I am sorry for all of your issues here at Casa grande. I am the owners son. I am now managing the places here full time now. I am a resident here, so I will be here to take care of any future problems that may occur. It was very hard for my father to manage Casa Grande from off site. I hope you don't let past problems discourage you from coming back. Hope to meet you in the future. Sincerely Tyson (general manager)

Idyllic
The home was amazing and perfect for our family of six. Easy to reach the owner and he had our air conditioner fixed within a few days. Perfect location for the town and local restaurants and shopping. Much preferred being in this location to the Nopolo part of Loreto. Loved the town, so safe and friendly - walked to town every night.

A relaxing place to stay! Not crowded....just the right amount of guests.
Within walking distance of almost everything in Loreto! Just around the block and we were at the Marina and Malecon. There was also a great little beach with palapa's. Just a few blocks to the main square and restaurants and little shops. We were 5 adults......and there was lots of space for everyone. A great kitchen with enough utensils where we prepared quite a few meals....... A large living room and deck. We enjoyed the pool area more then we expected to........it was sheltered and warm on the cooler and windy days .......the pool and grounds were very well cared for. We felt safe and secure within the gates that restricted access. We also appreciated the washer and dryer as we spent 21 days there. Also the garage for the days we rented a car. We loved Loreto and the people ....we explored quite a bit but we're planning to come back and explore some more. A month next time!

Wonderful condo/house
We stayed two weeks in Casa Grande and by the time we left, it felt like home. We were with another couple for the first week and the house was perfect for two couples. The two main bedrooms are downstairs and both have full bathrooms attached, for nice privacy. The living area is upstairs with a roomy well- stocked kitchen and a comfy sectional couch to crash on. We like to cook and we had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the outside deck, which is also large and overlooks the well-maintained landscaping and the pool. It's an easy walk to the malecon, the beach and to the central square of Loreto. One small downside is that the house is located on a dirt road - it's only about 1 1/2 blocks of dirt, so we didn't find it a problem. We would definately try to rent this again when we come to Loreto.

Great Property and Amazing Host
We booked Casa Grande for a 10 day golf vacation in Loreto. Booking with Barrett was a breeze. Very trustworthy man! He was wonderful in being attentive to all of our questions prior to our arrival, and was absolutely amazing in helping us when we arrived at the property. Casa Grande is located within the Coco Cabanas in Loreto. In this way we were able to use the pools and BBQs within this small, yet very quaint, resort. Don't let the dirt road leading you to the property fool you - when you get inside the gates you are in a clean, well tended, resort which has various two and one bedroom villas available as rentals. The Casa Grande is the largest on the property. There are two master bedrooms on the main level - each with its own full bathroom, air conditioning, TVs and closet space. As we were two couples traveling together this worked out perfectly for us. There is also access to the garage on the main level. In the garage are a washer and dryer for your use - comes in handy if you are doing an extended stay! Up the stairs you enter into the main living space. It is huge! There is a very large kitchen and dining area, a spacious living room, and another sleeping space with twin beds should you need access to a third bedroom. The main floor has air conditioning as well. Off of the living room are the doors leading you to an incredibly oversized patio. LOVED IT! The patio has a built in canopy so you can enjoy the warmth of the day, but sit in shade. There is also enough space to move the table out and enjoy the patio while sitting in the sun. We spent more time on the patio than anywhere else. The main level also has a third bathroom. There is a large TV in the living room and Barrett has quite a collection of movies for optional viewing should you choose. The kitchen is well stocked with any item you might need to cook for yourself. I am sure that others did as we did and left behind any items that they had brought along - from spices, to glasses, to coffee filters. Truly, the space in the Casa is amazing! We were more than comfortable throughout our time there and loved the ability to simply pop down to the pool for a dip when we wanted. We were very fortunate to meet Barrett upon our arrival as he was at the Cabanas at that time. (Barrett also has some of the 1 and 2 bedroom villas for rent at the Cabanas if this if of interest.) He was such a wonderful host! When we wondered about the best way to travel back and forth to the golf course, he introduced us to Oscar, who met our every driving need while we were there. When we wondered about a day on the sea, he introduced us to Francisco, and we had a fabulous day at sea. When we asked about places for groceries and liquor purchases, he shared where to find the different items - and you do have more than one option for shopping in Loreto. Barrett just helped us with absolutely everything - thanks Barrett, you have no idea the 'value add' that your friendship brought to our vacation. You will also find information in paper form within the Casa that shares much with you related to services you might need and where to find them. He has thought of it all, and is genuine in wanting his guests to have a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed all that Loreto had to offer, and we loved the Casa Grande.

A very comfortable well-located, well-equipped facility
We were there with our son;s family including two grandchildren ages 5 and almost-3. The pool, warmed, was a major attraction for the kids. Casa Grande is within easy walking distance of the historic center and lots of good restaurants. We were there during Carnaval so a couple of nights were noisy from the celebration on the malecon, two blocks away by the beach, but normally it was a very quiet neighborhood.

Good stay, but...
The owners personal issues with locals made the stay awkward. Staff at the rest of the complex was not permitted to help us.

Hidden treasure.
If you want the whole small town Mexico experience I highly recommend Casa Grande as a place to stay. Don't be put off by the dirt alley you go down to get there. The grounds inside the Coco Cabanas are beautiful. The pools are well maintained and the owners keep one heated for those of us that travel off season. There is just the right amount of sun and shade if sitting by a pool is your thing. The place is very secure even though gates are kept closed but not locked. Loreto is unlike any other Mexican town we've visited. It is clean, the people are friendly, and food is great (whether choosing to eat in or out). However, if you want to eat in bring some basic cooking amenities because the kitchen is basically bare. I travel with my VRBO cooking set so I have no complaints. We rented a car just down the street so the attached garage is a real treat. Hope if you get to Loreto you have the chance to stay in such a beautiful place.
