Two Bedroom end-unit with panoramic views of the Bay of Banderas and large private patio. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a full separate bath with Shower, toilet, sink, and mirror and in addition, the master bedroom has its own sink and mirror. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, Stove and Oven, Microwave, Toaster, and Blender. This condo can be combined with our other condo (via adjoining doors) to make a single 4 bedroom condo.

Nice Property ....HOWEVER...
When I first inquired about this property,the owner, Bill, could not have been more courteous and professional. All of my questions were very promptly responded to, and I appreciated it. Three of us friends, two seniors and one close to senior status, arrived in mid-January, to find this lovely property. However, and very unfortunately, the property is NOT as advertised: it is NOT a one and one half bath property. In the US, a "half bath" consists of a sink AND a toilet. The master bedroom ONLY has a small sink. It does not have a toilet. Correct information would have definitely made a difference to us in booking this property. The listing also mentioned that stairs needed to be climbed. It was only when we arrived that we figured out just how onerous the "stairs" issue turned out to be! Walking out the back way to get to the beach meant trekking down six flights of stairs, NOT an easy task for seniors.
As mentioned, the apartment is a very nicely appointed two bedroom apartment with fans and with air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms, as well as a portable fan in the living room, which we did not utilize since the weather was comfortable with windows open. I slept on the couch, and the couch was particularly uncomfortable. One MAJOR positive was Alicia, the apartment manager, who really worked hard at making our stay as comfortable as possible. When I mentioned the couch to her, she brought over a heavy quilt and put that on top of the sofa as a sofa topper, and that made the sofa more comfortable to sleep on. My back appreciated it!
The terrace overlooking the Pacific ocean is as advertised, truly a magnificent sight! It was great to be able to make breakfast each morning, and have breakfast and coffee out on the terrace, overlooking the ocean, watching the fishing boats that went out to sea! There was a very small TV in both the living room and in the master bedroom, but we seldom accessed it, as we were out of the apartment for most of the day.
The pool area / terrace upstairs was also lovely. However, the pool is not heated, and the weather was not warm enough for anyone to try to swim in the cold water. It was good to lay out on the terrace, however, to read and relax.
The historic downtown is "walkable" to from the beach area, and we did that each day. We did not even attempt to try to walk up six flights of stairs at the end of the day, opting, instead, for a taxi to drive us back.
In summary, I would say that if a renter wants a two bedroom, one bathroom (and a small sink) unit, with a lovely view, who can negotiate all those stairs, near the historic downtown area via the back way, this would be a good fit. Again, the property manager, Alicia, needs to be specifically commended for her hard work.

Outstanding View
The location is amazing. You can literally walk to everything. What is bringing me back, is the view. You have a huge patio that you can sit out on in the mornings; drinking coffee and watching cruise ships coming in. In the evenings, every night there was a beautiful sunset. When it was whale season, we could watch them right from the patio. You basically have everything you need in the condo. We are going on 4-months here and have got along just fine. If you have an issue, the Property Manager, Alicia, is right on it. There is a housekeeper twice a week...she has spoiled me. The owner, Bill, is an excellent communicator and a great person. Since we are here for 4-months, he let me bring my cat😻. We are visiting again in 6-months. For some, the only drawback is the climb from the street below up to the gate where the condo is. Otherwise, you need to go to the front of the condos, off the highway to get in and come down.

Beautiful view, comfortable stay
The check-in instructions were accurate and we were met immediately by the property manager and showed to the suite.
The private patio/balcony with expansive view was definitely where we spent most of our time. The kitchen was basic, but we didn’t cook much other than eggs and rice, and morning coffee.
The beds were a bit firm and the air conditioning only needed to be run for a couple minutes to cool down the bedrooms.
The wifi signals worked great and was faster than most hotels. There were many TV channels, but we weren’t around much to watch.
The shower was very nice once the water warmed up. We had an issue with the toilet plugging early on, but the property manager came quickly to address.
The pool was nice and not crowded, although we spent most of the time on the beach, which was crowded during the spring break.
I knew about the ‘hike’ up to the suite prior to booking, but it does require some physical conditioning, especially after a hot day at the beach.
We walked most everywhere - close to beach, Malecon, restaurants. When we wanted to get groceries at the supermarket or go to the zoo, Uber was definitely the way to go.
Bill was very responsive in communications and provided great suggestions.

About the neighbourhood
We are located about 1 block from Los Muertos Beach in a quiet neighborhood in the Zona Romantica area (part of the old town). Many great restaurants and shops are within a 5-10 minute walk and the Malecon is only about a 10 minute walk away. This part of Puerto Vallarta is hilly which is why we have the great views. Even though we are about a block away from the ocean, the lower entrance to the complex is about 6 stories above the beach and the main entrance is another 6 stories above that.
