Casa las Amapas is one of the original homes build in Conchas Chinas, recently remodeled to retain the best of classic Vallarta style with a Mediterranean influence. The result is simple and elegant and completely in tune to a casual tropical lifestyle with numerous outdoor living areas. The pool and nearby palapa are surrounded by lush tropical vegetation for complete privacy. The spacious upper terrace is perfect place to enjoy the sunset or lounge away the afternoon in the shade of the pergola.
The oceans edge sits 20 feet from the main entertaining area so the sound of the surf and the soft ocean breezes are a constant. Just steps from the villa are the white sandy beaches of Conchas Chinas. Los Muertos Beach and the popular romantic zone are a short walk along the beach or along ...

Not a Peaceful Experience
Nice house - poor surroundings. MAJOR construction of large high rise property next door, with the associated banging, loud workers and radios plus dust and traffic. Privacy issues (read: workers peering into the pool area), so if peace and quiet is your idea of paradise look elsewhere! Great staff in the casa, wonderful rocky coastline in front of the property.

Immaculate Casa- wonderful experience, tropical paradise- wish i can buy for myself
Everything about Casa Las Amapas is special- we party of fun loving 10 people stayed recently for my uncle’s grand 60. We arrived by a taxi and were greeted by the staff, felt at home right away.We were given a complete tour of the villa and then guacamole and pica de gallo with chips were served. Mary Carmen is the cook and her food id decently good.We asked her to make some of her specialties and she did. Plates of the fresh fruit with Mexican scrambled eggs with freshest OJ and decent coffee. We worked with Mary Carmen to create 4 days of great menus. She is sweet and charming We were waited on by Reuben, Luis and Orlando during the day.
Ruben stayed overnight to mind the house and front gate. But a big shout out to my man Ruben, he is the most resourceful guy who speaks little English, but can anticipate everything. His immecable service certainly was rewarded with a good bonus at the end. Our rooms were always spotless when we got back from the beach or shopping, cleaned daily. We were a short walk to the main beach and shopping. Taxis are available and are cheaper. The airport taxi is a bit pricy.
The sound of the waves to an open window and fan, I did that 4 nights straight, was the most soothing experience. I slept like a baby.Sunsets are beautiful from the balconies, the salmon glow and the orange ball of fire setting is beyond amazing. We cannot wait to come back.

Group of friends stay at Casa Las Amapas
My group of fourteen friends stayed at Casa las Amapas. First of all, the house is amazing. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean.
There was staff available all day long to make drinks and food for us. The price of the food is separate. The staff will prepare 2 meals. They have a menu where you can order what you want for the group meals. Ask them to buy extra avocados, cilantro and chips for guacamole to snack on throughout the day.
The area is very safe but they also have a night watchman which makes you feel safe and secure.
The place has so many seating areas where you can sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the house, the ocean and surroundings.
There is some construction a couple buildings away from the house. You can hear hammering during the day. We had music playing all day so we didn’t really hear the construction.
I’m planning to return next year for another birthday celebration!!!

The villa has 5 bedrooms, each with private baths and air conditioning. The 3 bedrooms on the top level all have ocean views & terrace. The 2 bedrooms on the lower level open onto the lower terrace with partial ocean views.
