Villa Bahia...AMAZING!!!
We went down to Villa Bahia with another couple. Carlos was waiting for us at the airport and a quick ride thought Zihua and we arrived at Villa Bahia. Words can not begin to describe the overwhelming view when you first walk in to this beautiful villa.
On our first night we went to dinner at Coco Bahia. The food was wonderful and the view was great. The best part was this little gem is a quick walk from the villa.
We went deep sea fishing our first day. The boat was well equipped with Penn reels. We got lucky and caught a 300+ blue marlin. Evened you don't fish, I would recommend taking a boat ride while your are down in Zihua. There are not my places the are a true horseshoe bay.
We spent a day at the beach Playa la Ropa and had lunch at La Perla. Did some parasailing, jet skiing and even got a message.
We ate out every evening at one of the many amazing restaurants in Zihua...and even one night in Ixtapa. However, we did have breakfasts in the villa. The perfect omelet is waiting for you. Every meal looked like something out of a magazine. Simple perfect.
We have already book a return to this villa for June 2015. And can't wait to relax poolside at Villa Bahia

If you are planning a trip to the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Mexico area, consider this alternative to spending your vacation in a hotel room - renting a private beachfront resort villa where you will enjoy being pampered by your own household staff, on-site chef, private beach and many other luxurious amenities that each villa resort has to offer.This property is located in Zihuatanejo, a ten minute drive from Ixtapa.
If you are looking for a unique venue for your next offsite executive staff meeting or office retreat, or a premium award for your employee incentive plan, consider renting a beachfront resort villa (or two!) in scenic Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, where there is over 300 days of sun a year!.
The Beaches: La Playa Principal, which is the public beach located in front of the town. The municipal pier is located at one end. The local fisherman beach their skiffs here during the day. They fish at night and in the morning display and sell their catch to the local market and restaurants. Playa La Ropa is the longest beach in the area. In the 16th century a Spanish galleon called the Nao made the mistake of entering the Bay, which was then a den for British buccaneers. The pirates fired on the galleon without even having to pull up anchor and the galleon was scuttled. It’s cargo of Chinese silk clothing washed up all over the beach, which is how “Clothes Beach” got its name. To reach this beach it is easiest to take bus from downtown Zihuatanejo.
Golf: Palma Real Golf Course: Ranked as one of Mexico’s finest golf courses, this 18-hole course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and has spectacular scenery and natural wildlife. Marina Golf Course The Marina Golf Course in Ixtapa was designed by Robert Von Hagge, renowned golf course designer. This exclusive 18 hole, par 72 course is 6,793 yards long and is situated on 55 hectars of land characterized by attractive landscaping and natural canals requiring 12 bridges.
Fishing: Offshore Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is Mexico’s newly discovered, exciting sport-fishing destination and is home to many big game fish such as pacific sailfish, dorado (mahi mahi), black and blue marlin, wahoo and yellowfin tuna. Inshore species such as roosterfish, grouper, snapper, Spanish mackerel and yellowtail jacks are also available throughout the year.
