Bliss!!
We made the trip of a lifetime getaway for our 13 girlfriends at Chango Villa. It was an absolute dream everyday. The owners were wonderful to work with and always had making our dream vacation a priority, the staff were diligent and dependable and were very respectful of everyone's time. The surroundings and the architecture and design are so wonderful - we loved the sinks in the bathroom so much we did a photo series. Dreaming of returning to Chango Villa.

Perfect spot for a scuba or beach group
This property is amazing. We had 11 people stay for a week of sun and scuba. The host helped arranging scuba certification lessons for 7 of our guests and you cannot find a better spot to scuba dive. The boat will pick you up 100 yards from the back door.
The house is in great shape with 7 bedrooms. There is plenty of room in the kitchen and living area for a large group to spread out. Everything looks just like the photos.
I highly recommend adding the in-home chef services as the food was amazing and not having to cook or clean for a group of our size made the whole week care free.

Definitely returning again
The Villa was all that was described and much more. The staff from the grounds man, maid, and chefs were amazing. Our meals were ready every morning and evening. The chef accommodated those with substitute meals when needed, and served hot meals daily. The maid/grounds man would clean daily, and check to see if we needed any thing. The ladies from the spa came daily and would setup any where we wanted, especially on the beach. The recommendations from the staff was amazing! We had a girls week and will definitely be returning. It was GREAT!!

Simply Amazing!
Chango Villa is the essence of Cozumel vacationing. From the time you arrive at the tall iron gates to the fresh air that hits you in the face as you open the back doors. Chango Villa provides it all. My family and I are swept way every time we visit at just how amazing the island of Cozumel is and the wonderful accommodation of this home.
The staff is pleasant, and the home is well kept each day to ensure your stay is nothing less than extraordinary.

One of a kind experience
The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable - and truly a one of a kind experience. We are a family of four with 2 kids ages 11 and 13. We traveled with 2 other families and there was still plenty of room for more people. Everyone had their own bathrooms, privacy, etc. It's in a very convenient location. The sun sets between the palm trees are spectacular.

Destination of a lifetime!
This house really unlocks the opportunity for a once in a lifetime trip for extended families or groups of families. There is enough space to spread out and do your own thing (pool, beach, trip to town, reading in well-appointed rooms - each with a bathroom) and also great space to all come together in the heart of the house. We had 3 separate families, and it was fun to gather throughout the day in the kitchen to chat and cook together. Sitting by the infinity pool and looking across the beach at the sunset or rising moon, framed in by lines of palm trees, was a stunning way to end every day.
The staff were super friendly and really committed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. And the opportunity to work with trusted partners to go scuba diving, boating/snorkling, etc. made things extremely easy. We enjoyed casual dinner along the beaches at Albertos, lunch at the Monkey Bar, cervesas and snacks at Corona Beach Bar. And we also spent time in town shopping for Mexican wares (Los Cincos Soles) and eating out (Panchos Backyard and Guidos - yes they even have Italian food in Cozumel).
All in all, a trip for a lifetime and I highly recommend Chango Villa.

Amazing Villa in perfect location!
Chango Villa is a gorgeous home, on an amazing beach! The view is unbelievable and the pool is absolutely beautiful.
We were a group of 11 women and we had a wonderful time. We relaxed, we played, we did scuba diving, beach walks, and had fantastic meals.
Palancar reef is just a short boat ride away for amazing diving. Jess was fantastic as our concierge - helping plan all sorts of details from diving to a snorkel trip to groceries. We also used the chef service for breakfasts and dinners and the food was delicious (and the chef also dealt well with several different dietary restrictions...).
Chango Villa is pure heaven - we can't wait to go back!!

Amazing Time at ChangoVilla!!
Me and my friends from school had an amazing time at the villa! It had a great beach-front location, with numerous amenities. The pool, scuba gear, paddle boards, and kayaks were used on the daily. We also contacted Jessica, who is the villa's concierge service, helped us organize excursions, transportation into town, and dinner reservations. We went on a boat tour with Jay Jay (which I highly recommend). Snorkeling and visiting the beautiful El Cielo was complimented with food, refreshments, and booze. So fun! In the evenings we would hang out on the roof, and watched the most beautiful sunsets. Albino and Laura were also wonderful! The property was very clean and well-maintained. It was a great experience, and I hope we can visit again very soon.

Incredibly beautiful beach-front house!
Chango Villa was the perfect location for a relaxing vacation but there was also the option for lots of activities, with the scuba gear and paddle-boards available for us at the house. The infinity pool looking out onto the beach and the ocean was a remarkable feature of the house and I can't wait to go back! Thank you so much to the owners who ensured that this vacation was perfect in every way!!

About the neighbourhood
Directly on the Caribbean and the absolute best location to reach over 100 scuba dive sites that range from a 1 minute to 15 minute boat ride (dock 300 meters from the villa for transport). Snorkeling directly in front of the villa has vibrant fish life and over 200 feet of visibility. Chango Villa is on a private beach and once can walk 10 miles south down the the beach on unobstructed beautiful walks. The villa is 14 km from downtown where nightlife and shopping are available. Local beach bars with restaurants and shopping are within 300 meters of the villa. Many beaches are near the villa for kids and adults who enjoy water sports, recreation, and rentals (parasailing, waverunners, etc.)
Getting around
A car is not needed as taxi vans or regular taxis can transport guests around the island easily. However, if you plan on going to the city more than 3-4 times during your trip, a car rental will become more economical. Cars can easily be dropped off at the villa on a daily or weekly basis.

How to get there
The island of Cozumel has an airport and many airlines fly directly to the island from US and Canadian cities such as Houston, Dallas, Miami, Charlotte, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Toronto depending on the season. Many guests can save 20-40% on flights by flying to Cancun, MX and then taking a shuttle van or bus for $10 US per person and 35 minute transport to Playa del Carmen and then taking the Ferry to Cozumel for $9 US per person and 30 minute transport to Cozumel. Cabs or Vans can take guests to Chango Villa directly. All taxi drivers know the villa by name. Note: if flying directly to Cozumel, a state run van program will transport each guest to the villa for $9 US. If desired, rental cars can be easily dropped off at the villa.
