Brand new 2 bed 2 bath 1340 sq ft ground floor condo. This condo is located in the diamond zone of Playa del Carmen in the gated community of El Cielo. The condo has a open floor plan so you are not cut off from the rest of your group if you are in the kitchen or dinning room. The brand new condo(Nov 2013) is very well equipped with everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one. The Kitchen has a fridge, 6 burner gas stove, oven, cold water dispenser, microwave and yes a dishwasher.
The kitchen also has granite counters with a breakfast bar and all the appliances are stainless steel plus all the utensils and dishes you will need to prepare and serve any meals you choose too.

About the neighbourhood
El Cielo is located approx. 3 kms north of down town Playa del Carmen (PDC), in the diamond zone of PDC. The Princess Resort is a short 5 min walk from the condo. We do recommend you have a car while staying at our condo, this gives you the freedom too see all that PDC and the Mayan Riviera has too offer. For those nights you do not want to drive the short 5 min walk to the back gate and the Princess resort you will find ample taxis to take you where you want to go. First stop PDC which is about a 5-10 min drive to downtown, there is great restaurants, shopping, beaches and nightlife and also the ferry to Cozumel which is a great day trip and has some of the best scuba diving in the world. Next there is two very large and very different Eco parks about a 15 min drive south of our condo. Another 10 min south and you can visit Paamul where you can have lunch and do some fantastic snorkeling on this quiet beach just tell the guard at the gate you are going to have lunch. another 15 min further south and you will be in Akumal which means the place of the turtle. Here you can swim with turtles and rays all day long and Akumal is a very beautiful beach and laid back little town with several places to eat and shop. Akumal is also home to Yal Ku lagoon which is a great place to snorkel. Another 15 min south or about 45 mins from the condo and you are in Tulum here you will find the Tulum ruins many shops and restaurants and beaches that have been voted in the top 5 in the world for the past several years, Tulum is also the gateway to the Sian Kaan biosphere and the turn off to the Coba ruins. As you can see there is a lot to see and do on the Mayan Rivera and this only a bit of what there is too do, when you have had your fill of fun and sun you can retreat back to AWA and enjoy the peace and quiet and all the complex has to offer.
