Great location!
Location, location, location. 2 minute walk to beach. Resort is very well maintained, pool is amazing. Rented for a week, would stay again. Some important info to know about...they don't clean rooms unless you pay for and schedule in advance. This means no fresh towels, no trash taken out. We bagged up our trash and asked for more towels (which we received, thank you Carmen) but it was not what I expected. Be sure to read fine print. Also I booked a 1bedroom 1 bathroom, I feel it was a studio because the bed was in the living room with the tv, no dining table just a bar with stools. I'm afraid that Mexico feels this is a 1 bed 1 bath where as I consider it a studio because the bedroom is not separate from the rest of the living space.

Nice Resort, Great Location
Loved the location, between the ocean and 5th Avenue. So many great restaurants, bars, and shops just a short walk away. The pool area is awesome, and if you prefer to relax at the beach, there are 2 beach clubs that resort guests get discounts to about 100 meters away. The resort also has a small gym and parking, both of which are great perks.
The apartment is a little dated, but has everything a couple or single traveler would need for a short stay.

VACATION
WE WENT PLAYA DEL CARMEN people were nice ,food was great and the rental we stay at was convenient to everything.The Thai aldea was super, super, super, clean. Just make sure to ask about even the smallest of details, direct beach access, which we had to come up with a clever creative work around. Being so close to fifth avenue and all the action made the our anniversary a wonderfully unforgettable trip.

A pretty good value for the $
Nice place and good location. The appartment was clean and generally well-kept. My only suggestions are to clean, pick up trash, and replace the linens every four days when someone is staying for more than one week and to fix the lose tile. It diminishes and otherwise great-looking place.
