About the neighbourhood
This Villa is located in TAO Residential Community within the grounds of the gated 5 Star Resort, Gran Bahia Principe. <BR>The villa is surrounded by lush green manicured grounds, plenty of trees and on the 4th hole of the 3rd ranked golf course in all of Mexico, designed by Robert Trent Jones. The course is so well manicured the grass does not look real and the lakes throughout the resort on the course are magnificent. A shuttle takes you around the entire resort to the pristine sandy white beaches with the most gorgeous turquoise water encompassing the second largest protected reef in the world. Delight to all the fishing, snorkeling and diving or swimming, walking, biking, tennis you can handle. There are water sports such as water polo and volleyball as well as daily water aerobics on the private beach. Swim with the Dolphins at our own Dolphinarium at the beach or just sit back and watch these amazing docile creatures. Bask in the sun and walk the miles of majestic shoreline. There are sailboats, kayaks, dive equipment and snorkel gear available to rent. Try parasailing if you so choose. It is all at your disposal as well as the numerous cenotes you can explore. 5 minutes to the famous Xel-ha natural water park, X-plor adventure park and X-Caret with its all day and night activities and shows are close by. Sit in a hammock and enjoy the ocean's breezes in your tranquil part of the world. There is plenty to do at night with all the numerous boutique restaurants in Tulum and Akumal. Swim with the turtles at Akumal beach and enjoy the waves in Tulum. It's all here waiting for you. You just have to choose what your heart desires. Welcome to Paradise!

How to get there
Drive south from Cancun airport on the main north/south highway, 307, towards Playa del Carmen/Tulum. After Akumal pueblo and overpass, look about five minutes later for the TAO Residential signs on your right. It will come up fast. Turn right. If you miss it, take the next right into the Gran Bahia Principe Resort entrance and follow the signs to TAO Wellness Center. <BR><BR>Also, Canada Transport is a good shuttle alternative if you don't rent a car. Very reliable and reasonable rates.<BR><BR>You can take a Super Shuttle but the transport above is much better. Taxis are also available but a bit expensive.<BR><BR>The shuttles run around the resort but stop at TAO at 3 on Sundays. You can also rent a car there, a golf cart or bikes.<BR><BR>
