A stay at this rural cottage can be as relaxing or as busy as you would like it to be,as it is situated in a quiet rural location on the southern edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,and yet is still within easy reach of many of the regions most popular places of interest. The spa town of Harrogate with its famous tearooms and Turkish Baths can be found within 8.5 miles of the property and is an excellent choice for an enjoyable day trip. Other attractions in the area include the gardens at RHS Harlow Carr; the impressive ruined priory at Bolton Abbey; and the breathtaking scenery of Brimham Rocks,which is not only popular with walkers but also with keen climbers and boulderers too. This property offers fantastically spacious accommodation for seven guests who will get a sense of space as soon as they step inside the front door. The first room that they will come to is the kitchen which is semi-open plan to the dining room and is well-equipped with a Range oven,hob,microwave,and fridge/freezer. To the rear of the kitchen a separate utility room-cum-boot room houses another freezer as well as the washing machine and tumble dryer. Moving through to the dining room,guests will find a generously-sized space with a French oak dining table and far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside. These views can also be enjoyed from the patio doors in the lounge,where guests will also find comfortable sofa seating and a TV. One of the propertys bedrooms is situated on the ground floor,a peaceful double room which benefits from its own TV,as do all of the other bedrooms. A handy cloakroom with WC can also be found on the ground floor and is accessed via two steps up. A staircase leads to the first floor where the remaining three bedrooms are situated. The first of these is the king-size master bedroom which offers far-reaching views across the neighbouring fields. The second bedroom is a delightful twin room,whilst the final bedroom is a restful single room. The bathroom,meanwhile,offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Patio doors from the lounge lead open onto the propertys attractive garden. This enclosed area is mainly set to lawn and offers plenty of space for children to play whilst the adults relax on the patio area where picnic-style benches and tables are provided. To the front of the property,there is an additional courtyard-style garden which takes the form of a BBQ area,again with garden furniture provided. There is off-road parking available for up to three cars. More
